My boiler is finished now and we have a warm house, first time in years and i have just had a bath and it took only a quarter of the time to run:D . Its so nice to have and just wanted to shout about it. Sorry folks - its a simple thing i know but when you have lived like we have for years you would want to shout too.:j

I mentioned to the boiler man that it was nice for the water to make bubbles in my washing up instead of me having to woosh the water from side to side (LOL).

    God i am sooo sad?

Cool........:j , bet you don't know yourself now then hunni ?:D

Great news that, and I also bet this was the best bath ever ???:D :T

So they need more time to look into this then?
In general they are allowed to have 8 weeks to respond, so just give them a nudge a week or so before and tell them you look forward to their response on your complaint.;)

You should allow them up to 8 weeks to deal with this complaint. If its over the 8 weeks then I would write to them and tell them that you are taking your complaint to the FOS. It might get them moving. What date was your first letter of complaint?

That explains it then - although I had an heck of a time with Nemo too, about 3 times they wrote back to say they will reply the month after and it just went on, then it was the same stalling tactics with the FOS, just like what Laini is going through now....... .
I just wish I knew more of these procedures then, it may have shifted them a little.......

Firstplus are owned by Barclays and from what i have read of Barclays on here I think that Barclays are the worst offenders of not getting complaints sorted within the 8 weeks and also not complying with SARS either. Everyone that comes on about Barclays say that its beyond 8 weeks and they have still not replied. It is stalling tactics but surely if they were fined by the FSA or the ICO it could put a stop to it..

People need to put other complaints in as well about the complaints procedure and treating customers fairly.
