Morning Di and co!
I reecived a letter this morning from Northern Rock stating that I shouldnt have to pay PPI and offering me a refund!! whoo hoo
bad news, they are saying my account is in arrrears (this months payment due on 31.09.08) and that they will deduct the £105.00 from mt refund. But its paid on DD and so should be taken from the bank.
What does this mean?
If they take it from the refund and then take the DD also I will be paying twice for the same months payment.
Or will they not take the direct debit this month? I'm sure they are just trying to confuse me!
Thanks Simone
Ps. still no new from 'Bespoke fianace'. will keep you updated on that one!light bulb moment: 30.08.08!!0 -

Hi there Simone
Good news Simone on the refund side of it.
If you request the paperwork breakdown for this, give them a ring and ask them to send this in a written form.
You could add it here and someone will be able to work this out for you just to make sure you will not be paying twice.;)
You have the right to ask for the figures hunni.
Well done anyway.;)

I suppose, even if I'm not successful, due to timescales, then I can go for reclaim of unfair rebate. (I got none).:T0 -
I added those figures on here last night again..... , and it all comes down to how they have calculated the rebate, it all adds up to that of the amount of the PPI, and shows the amounts separately such as so much of it went on the LASU commission and so on minus the cancellation amount.
Think that is right anyway......The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
