If you mean complain to the FOS then you just download a complaint form from their site and fill it in. You have to have a final response from the company or it be over 8weeks since you first complained. You need to keep records of all letters and also send any letter by recorded delivery so you have a proof.

    excellent,thank you!!

    Sorry to butt in here.....:o

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

There is also a template on that link.;)

    ok will look there too,thanks;)
  • I must say that from reading through the discussion section and the success sections on the loans/PPI board it does look like the FOS is taking avery long time to sort out claims. I know they must be very busy but 10 to 12 months is a long time to wait if you really could do with the money(I think that would be most people at the moment)

I have two PPI claims at the moment none have got as far as FOS yet

All I can say is to all those who are going through this process like me is hang in there, and to all those who are thinking about claiming don't let the length of time the FOS are taking with claims put you off

It IS a long time and often people that are due money back have to then take out more finance in waiting. Its is a vicious circle:mad: .

Did you tell here though that you thought it was 15.4% of your loan or was she telling you as both myself and tiggrae have agreed if your received the payment of £10800 into your bank account and made repayments of the £214 per month then that works out at NO PPI on that account. I am totally confused here???

Also you cannot work it out as you have? If there was a single premium on the loan then you first need the actual amount of the £10800 that was the PPI and then work out the interest you paid when you settled the account.

I've phoned them back up and The figures they gave was 15.5% for the PPI and the severance interest was £399.58 + £17.01. Hope this helps?

You still have not found out how much of the loan you actually received though as there is no PPI on the figures you gave to us last night unless you only received a certain amount of the loan of £10800. If you received it in full then you definately paid no ppi from that loan.
