Copied and saved thanks Di. Very handy for me who never stops moaning..

I have had a letter from the FOS today to say that they have requested Firstplus things and that as soon as they have recieved them they will let me know and put into the waiting list for the adjudicator. Can't understand this though as they requested and got it all before some months ago. I am going to give them a ring. Surely they will still have the things on file??

Again rang them and they have said that it is something they would expect that they could look into. Also does state that due to the large volume of complaints etc so again none the wiser. I just don't want to wait months again and then be told in the end that "sorry we thought we could but now we can't".

Oh there i go again. I just wish they would be more specific. I would not be like this if it was not for the other complaint being told yes one day, assigned an adjudicator and being told no.

You can see where my paranoia is coming from. Its not being impatient, its what happened last time, it really knocked me back.

Yes I understand hun and I would be exactly the same as you.
They just don't seem to be very specific do they ?

A plain yes or no would be a lot easier for them to say too !!

Also regard my HMRC cheque. Apparently the guy rang this morning and says he has sent me the original cheque back from the HMRC made payable to them and that he would ring the tax office and tell them to cancel it and then make it payable to ourselves. I will just be glad to have the cheque back and take it from there. He has given me his mobile number too. Just have to wait until tomorrow now.

It will be hard now getting another one issued from the HMRC. I take it will take another 6 months for that one. I hope that a trip to the tax office is all thats needed. My hubby works and does not finish till 6 ish so it will mean time off work to get it sorted.

He did say yes it looks something we can look into actually (I said it wrong last time but I want a definate yes) but i am still paranoid as to last time. God, i can't trust anyone can I. This is me. I seem to be getting worse as time goes by. I went further than this on my last one and even got it passed on from this stage so I can't trust them until I get something in writing (even beyond that really as I had something in writing before to say Hi my name is .... and I am your adjudicator in this matter and also a phone call to tell me that he was now the adjudicator), i need an actual letter to say "you have won" and then I will trust them.

I can understand that after being let down last time with almost getting through to all the stages.

I do think anything finance in complaints should be dealt with by the FOS, under jurisdiction or not but I know they are over-run with them but maybe if this was the case there would not be so much mis selling........ .
