Its surprsied me that Freedom has said this is GIB one for that reason:confused:

They will still need the final response from GIB though. Can't wait to see the template letter - oops sorry the letter. Bet i can post the details here word for word before they even get it.
it will also need to be emailed to that guy in the Gibralter Finance Unit for investigation

Regulated activity??? Did you know that Bespoke is owned by FIDECS. They are regulated in GIB i think. How does this affect them??

Also is Bespoke Finance regulated here now as when i type it into the FSA Register it comes up with another Bespoke??? Not this one.

How can a complaint against them be taken to the FOS if they were not regulated by the FSA???

Would they have to make a complaint against Freedom?? Would FOS accept it as Bespoke will admit they sold it i think??

Di ring them and keep ringing them and email and email. You are not being impatient here. You were told you would have a reply.
  • I've got my mediation appointment with the Halifax on Wednesday, so have been a busy bee doing some reading and making some notes. If they don't settle on Wednesday then looks like we'll be discussing things again with the judge on 30th!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

if it's made using section 56 of the CCA (ie responsible for the actions of their agents) I currently have a claim in with the FOS now on that basis and they are assessing the statutory and jurisdiction implications now - hopefully (as I believe) they'll see the law is clear and that you can make a 'lender' responsible for the actions of their authorised agents
