Not Colic by any chance is it hun ?
That is a horrible thing to see your babies suffering with, I have been there with mine, and could never put them down, after a few weeks we were allowed to give colic drops, but as this is some time ago is there a certain age for giving this to babies, I can't remember ?

Hope the problem disappears hun, damn WIND..... , good luck !

Marshallka, have to pop out for a little while, I will try not to be too long, and will be back.:D ;) .

We used to give ours colic drops. I suppose that is really old fashioned now but maybe lots of back rubbing and of course lots of mummy cuddles.:D
  • Hi new to site looking for help:

I took out Littlewoods cc over phone back in Dec 2004, as far as I can remember was asked q's about been employed full time, how long employed, and who with and advised with RBS, I was never asked if I had seperate cover for illness, redundency etc.. which I did have with my employer and includes death in service, so this ppi would of been no use to me. Then in Aug 2007 wrote to Littlewoods to adv cover not req as is covered by my employer and to canx which they did -my q's are:

Can I still claim mis-sold ppi which amounts to £655 w/o int?

Can I also claim late p'mnt and over limit fees (£156 + int) at same time?

I have received all relevant statements that only took 3 days to come.

    Appreciate anyone's help

Is there a formula for working out how much of your monthly payment pays off the PPI on a single premium?
do you have your loan amount and ppi amount?

    Hi all,

    Advice needed!!

We took out a loan with freedom fianance in 2005 and paid it back in full in 2006. We recently found out we were charged a single rate of £1250.00 for the PPI (the 10 year rate for the loan).

We issued the complaint letter to freedom and they have stated it isnt them and that they have passed it onto the PPI company based in Gibraltar.

This was nearly a month ago now and we still havent heard from them. Any ideas on what we should do next?

    Thank-you.
    hi simone,

I think you've just made my day - as the loan was taken in 2005 you can take your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service - if Bespoke don't respond then download a complaint form from the FOS and send it off to them - everyone else on here took out their loans prior to 2005 and couldn't complain to the FOS - it's about time someone showed these guys they can't get away with passing over to the company in Gibralter !!!

Thanks for all the comments on Sunday, sorry I wasnt around, my 4 week old baby has been playing up all weekend. Now im at work for some peace!

The extra details that were needed are:

    First Payment - 4th November 2003
    Last Payment - 3rd January 2011

    APR9.9%
    Monthly Interest Rate 0.793%

Really appreciate all the help. I did see someone post that I could be looking at over £7k
    Bump for you Tiggrae :D

    The figures are as follows:

    Cash Loan - £11,000
    Credit Charge - £4,350.16
    Total Cash Loan - £15,350.16

    PPL - £2967.91
Charge for Credit for PPL - £1,108.61

ok your ppi amount is about 20.984% of the premiums which is £48.42 - you need to get the calculator from the bank charges forum and feed into it the £48.42 each month from the date you took out the policy until now and that will work out for you the 8% statutory interest

Its surprsied me that Freedom has said this is GIB one for that reason:confused:

They will still need the final response from GIB though. Can't wait to see the template letter - oops sorry the letter. Bet i can post the details here word for word before they even get it.

hi there yes you can make a reclaim for the mis selling, the charges are a separate matter and you need to make a separate claim for that - see the bank charges forum - these are credit card charges so are not stayed by the current high court test case
