All the boxes my husband ticked had lines through them but the ppi box had a x in it ?,not sure he completed it or someone else. Do you think it is worth going for mis selling the product or forced sale .I am so sure that we didnt take out this policy???

Just a point sometimes what they do is to cross box as standard and you have to opt out. Also could the cross be seen as you did not want PPI;)

I would take your complaint to the FOS. Especially as it was after Jan 05 and also point out to them that you doing so as you have asked for the whole PPI back (misselling) and not a rebate.

I presume this was a Single Premium insurance and most post Jan 05 complaints with them are being upheld.

I think you will be ok but just to let you know there is a long wait at the FOS

Lloyds were member of GISC at least before 24/9/03 as I have letter from them stating such:rotfl:

  • Hi Everyone,

    Slightly frustrated with Natwest!

3 letters to request credit card ppi info and keep getting a list of cc changes late and over limit charges only.

2 letters in July requesting a copy of a loan agreement so I can claim back PPI on a personal loan, they have written back saying it is now closed and they require 6 pieces of additional info to find it.

Is anybody else claiming PPI back off Natwest?

    Hi Maxpdp,

yes put the 40 day line in.

Hi Think you may be able to report them to Information Commissioner am sure somebody else on here will give you details of that.

Marshallka is usually about so will be able to advise you on that one.

Know NatWest has been reported as being quite difficult. Mind you they all are. :D

Yeah, same thing happening with me and the Co-op here. I would give them another letter and then say that you are reporting them to the ICO for non compliance with your SAR request. I have had to do this this morning and apparently they are now going to send this to me although they were not over the 40 days but sent me a template for me to request one again.

    Hi

Did they say how much the rebate would be . Do not accept unless it is 100% plus interest plus 8%. Unless of course you are happy with what they offer.

I would write telling them no give them say 14 days to reply then when they send final response take it to the FOS and send a copy of the form you send to the FOS (for their informationn)

Lloyds are sharks I have a claim with loan taken out in 2004 with PPI which I am going for unenforceable because they have messed me about so much. All loans credit cards etc have had with Lloyds they seem to have added PPI on even though am self employed and have health issues,

    Good luck:D

Hope you don't mind me asking but how are you going for unenforceable, is it straight forward?
