Really, even though they know its with the FOS? would they still try and offer something?

Yes hun I have heard that they have done.;)

I am surprised Lloyds Tsb have not got back to me yet considering I had emailed them just over a week ago to confirm the complaint is now with the FOS and was waiting for allocation..... , just thought I would let them know, and within an hour or 2 I received an email to say that they were looking into this and someone will contact me in 9 days..... , now what an odd number - yet I have not heard anything yet and I'm sure I worked out 9 days for today.... .

I think I did read on another site about this and that was Lloyds TSB, I could be wrong though.

Did singlep say something once about these being the same directors???

I really feel for you Di, nothing is simple cut and dried. You have got to work hard for these and i really hope it pays off for you in the end.

Yes I think Singlep did hun.
Remember when I told you I had sent that letter off and the director was away ?
Well at the time he was on his hols but did email me to say he would investigate and get back to me in early August.
Even though I have heard nothing from him yet, the compliance manager sent out the letter to say he was dealing with the investigation instead as the director was not available, and again I was told they could do nothing about it ........ , its so annoying, do you think I should write again perhaps ? and wait for a reply from the director and not the compliance manager, afterall the last letter was addressed to the director and not the muppet of the compliance manager..... .
Maybe I should see what Singlep says.........

Thing is now I have gone back to the lender Endeavour for the unfair rebate, thinking that was the end of Click, but you know me, like you, we have to keep on fighting......:D

I tried that but they didn't bother to respond.

What email addy did you use hun, as there are a few ?;)
Did I provide you with one ?

The one I use is: Internet.Banking@lloydstsb.co.uk

I then tell them what department, as mine is regarding Credit Cards PPI, I ask them to pass on the details to the dept in Brighton.;)

I didn't email to be honest - I sent a letter.

I see, that's why then I expect - although you would think they would still write back.
Try sending them an email hun and if you have a scanner, scan your letter you sent in the post to the computer and send it by attachment to the email I have added in the above post, tell them you expect to hear from them regarding your letter and give them 7 - 14 days to reply.

You could always tell them that was the letter you sent and you want it looked at with immediate effect as time is running out.;)

Please remind me hun, what letter was it ?
Was it a loan ppi reclaim or credit card ?

Cheers.
Di.

Seems like you got stung with rule 78 here and also a front loaded policy by the looks of things. I take it you are going for misselling here and not unfair rebate??

I used the template letter and brought up both points, letter said( in a nut shell )
I purchased the above policy in may 2003 but now believe I was mis sold because i paid a single premium for my policy and but did not see it through to its initial term after paying back the loan earlier than planned in march 2006

Also your salespeson did not give full information on what the policy would and would not cover
for example that the loan only covered first five years of the loan term.

help me urgently. Took out a loan via Freedom Finance with IGroup in 2003. Wrote all the letters and in the end told Freedom Finance that I was taking them to Court. They have now put in their defence and deny that I was mis-sold etc. I don't understand half the jargon
Look back for posts on here by Marluc and Kaia, both of these were figthing Freedom finance to the court stage and then at the last minute their solicitors were told to back out and paid them.

What was the date of the loan and ppi??

If you take a look at the posts by marluc and Kaia and see what happended there it may happen here with you.

I had a fight with them but it was not them (so i told) that sold me my PPI.

Tiggrae may be able to help with the understanding of the court documents etc. Give us a shout if you need to.

What a joke. I requested a subject access request from the Co-op bank and paid them the £10 to do so. I have today received a letter with a bit of paper attached to it with a list of bank charges since 2002 and nothing else. I thought a full subject access request had to include phone calls, statements, loan documents, ppi etc. I am so annoyed at this bank. I requested copies of agreements and it took them 7 weeks to provide them and before providing them i was told by a member of their staff that i did not have ppi on my loans as she was looking at the agreements at the time. When the agreements arrived 7 weeks later they all had PPI on the same agreements and it was plain to see. Now they are denying me my SAR from them too. I will have to write back and also contact the ICO and make a complaint.

I will take a look at the charges and see what can be done their too. Although there does not appear to be too much as we pay for the privelege account and always have done.

They usually pay it back as a cheque. Have you defaulted at all on the loan ?? I have not heard of this before but perhaps tiggrae has.

Did you stress to FOS you wanted the money YOU had paid in a cheque???
did you win your money back directly through barclays or through the FOS, if barclays then have you signed an agreement - if you have it will probably say on there how the money will be paid back - if you've gone through the FOS to get your money back then I'm surprised they are allowing barclays to dictate
