    hi all,

    i need some advice please.

i want to reclaim money from lloyds tsb for ppi i was sold on 4 loans i've had with them over the last 6 years. each loan was used to repay the previous, starting at £12,500 through to £24,000. i think the loans were all single premium, each time i got a new loan, the remainder of the ppi owed on the last was refunded.

when i send a letter to lloyds, do i include all 4 loans or should i send a separate letter for each? and should i send the letter to my local branch or their headquarters?

i think i was missold the ppi due to being self-employed which they knew about, and being told i wouldn't be given the first loan without ppi. the following 3 loans i wasn't even offered ppi, it was just added on to the loan.

should i give both reasons for being missold in the letter?

do i have to work out how much i want claim? i'm no good at that sort of thing out and don't think i could do it.

all advice would be very much appreciated.

    thanks, james.

    Hi James.

Personally I would request a SAR (Subject Access Request) for as soon as possible, by doing this they will send you all the information/accounts they have on you.;)

This will also show if you've had PPI, if it were single or not, but at least by requesting this you will have paperwork to back up your complaint.;)

A few pages back there is a SAR template, this was added in here yesterday by Marshallka, and brought into the forums by Laini.

With this you pay £10 cheque payment, and they have 40 days to comply.

Then we can move on to reclaiming.

    How's that hun ?

Get your letter sent out as you are close to your 6 years. You can request your sar in the meantime.

Hi James, I see Marshallka has suggested to send a letter template to the company, and to SAR them in the meantime, that's cool and I agree, due to the time limit, so by using the template on this site, I would add all the account numbers to each of the 4 loans, if all mis sold for the same reasons, on the same letter, as its the same loan company, not unless all this was mis sold for different reasons.

Or in the letter even though add all the account numbers for these loans, you can then in each paragraph write down the reasons of why you are reclaiming on each account.
Does that make any sense hun ?;)

Get back to us if your confused about this hun, or if I've confused you then lol.:D
