I wouldn't go this route. I want a court case. I know you have to be careful but everyone else seems to get away with not being careful and being totally illegal. (ie Freedom/Bespoke/Firstplus----oh no, they have their own law books don't they..)

I think there is quite a lot of libel on this site is there not???

All i have done is researched a company I KNOW 100% i had nothing to do with at the time of my loan (or certainly was not told they only processing loans for this company)-and even the smallprint of the lowcostloans.co.uk advert where it mentions Karacus Limited (as they were apparently at the time of my loan) it does not say based in GIB. Apparently they said i went through a teletext ad. I need to prove they are lying and i know they are and i know they have lied for a reason too. Its not all about the ppi there are other things. I will continue searching and writing things i find out from the internet as i do not know them. No libel (hopefully) just truth. I want to know why????????????????????

They misrepresented themselves to me and Firstplus know something too. They referred to Wilmslow FS (now Freedom Finance) as BROKERS until the claim.

Marshallka - your complaint about the early settlement took place in 2003 NOT 2000, Firstplus were owned by Barclays then and covered by the FOS - you didn't put 2000 as the date of when the event took place on your complaint form did you !!????

No, i made the complaint against Firstplus and then when i asked about the barclays thing they said i had to resubmit another complaint and then they said it would have to be after the first was dealt with. They were of no help to me really, in fact they shunned the idea. They say in their letter that there is confusion to who actually sold the policy. I wanted them to find out for sure but they can't.

I cannot be bothered to do all this again to be told by them "sorry cannot help". I am literally exhausted with all this. I have lost weight (sat at the computer), neglected my family and my nerves are in tatters.

I will now wait for Freedom to get back with their reply and then i am going to take this to court but not myself as like i say its exhausting me. Going to go to our local help centre on these kinds of things. I just feel annoyed that none of the authorities will help.

Latest letter fro GE states that they can't find all the stuff. Have no confirmation of the alleged telephone call but they did pass it to their investigation team. Who surprisingly have said everything is above board and the wife gets nowt.
So much for the nice guy approach these people aren't bothered.
Could anyone tell me what they think a judge would think given the following evidence.

The wife -
CCA with no PPI ticked
Detailed notes provided by GE money that identify all major communications on account. Nothing about phone calls to customer offering PPI.

GE Money -
She rang and asked for it M'lud.

They have sent me contact details for the FOS etc so I'm going down that track. I can't believe they haven't paid up as, to be honest all their evidence is pure heresay.

Would you say i could win though Tiggrae. I would love to hand it over now. I am sooo blummin frustrated with it and I want to continue the Freedom fight as i think i may have a better chance there. There is also the wage thing that i feel is something that maybe illegal by them. Hi all,

Ive had a loan with WFS for about 4 years now - topped the loan up twice, so really had 3 loans from them. The PPI i was paying on these were ridiculous. I am able to claim any of this back? And where can i get template letetrs if i can claim.

Wouldn't worry too much about it - none of them pays up unless forced to do so by either the courts or the FOS !!!

I only thing I could do is redo your complaint on the early redemption, I'd make it against Barclays t/a Firstplus and from the 2003 date- as for the mis selling - leave that one for you as you're on a personal mission !!!
