thanks to you both, tiggrae and marshallka for your quick reply, yes he was class 2 and i checked the policy and cannot find anything if he was covered or not but double check everything again later with hubby anyway, and if yes,we cannot claim, right? and yes I have sent always all my correspondence by recorded delivery and just one more thing, we did try to cancell the PPI BUT THEY SAY WE CANNOT as we need to take a new policy on much higher interest, how can we go about it?

Let us know Laini, i am ringing OFT to see if Karacus/Bespoke actually had a CC licence at the time of my loan. Will let you know shortly????????

Have Nemo been in touch with you about this being upheld?

Karacus had licence in 1997, renewed 2002 and then again in 2007:mad: and got it now until 2012 under Bespoke.

Obviously they are thought of as suitable traders. Where is the justice.
Why trade from Gibraltar or have they all got "SAD"... What is Gibraltar... Is it not a Tax Haven. They are up to no good i bet you and we are letting it happen and gladly issuing them with a "licence" to do so.

    Corrupt comes to my mind.

It depends on whether that was the only reason you were claiming for the missold. Its so complicated with the self employed bit as you have to have been in continuous employment for 6 months generally and sometimes being self empolyed there are weeks when you are not.

thanks marshallka, what do you mean in 6 months employment?, he has worked for 8 months without any breaks
another thing is that we are claiming as well on on the bit were we were not given the right info at all and it was a single premium policy as well, so what do you think we should do?
as i said we have tried to cancel the PPI, they said we would have to take another policy with higher interest

Just another one for you tiggrae, i have just noted on Bespokes letter that they are still using the letters displaying FISA at the bottom and they are no longer regstered so have informed FISA.:D

Also i have looked them up on the data protection register and they only registered in May 2000 and yet were processing data before that date. I have asked at the ICO if this is alright to do and they said they doubted that they would be "exempt" as they were processing the data in this country and that it was an offence. Is this right and who do i make the complaint to. Is it the ICO themselves.

    hi again,
i have just check all the facts and i just cannot believe how stupid I am, when my husband took the loan he was not self-employed yet!!! i got it all wrong so the reason for being self-employed is out of question, so i do apologise for waisting your time posting this questions
but the matter of fact is that we still did not know that the policy covers only 5 years, so we have not been given the right info, so we can claim from that angle, right, or am I still wrong?
