I can't wait for my SAR and from what Bespoke told me today they have traced my details and sent them over to Freedom for checking over so hopefully it should be soon. I bet they will still deny it. I still feel it was firstplus that sold it though. Someone will take responsibity.0 -

I think you and all the others that have dealings with Bespoke/FF should send emails to watchdog programme. That is just the kind of think they would go for and could help with the reclaiming if they are named and shamedPPI Reclaimed -

Thank you, I am not stressed about it yet, but probably will be after the weekend! I think I can win in court and I will give it eveything I have got. Then its on to the next court case. I just want it to all be over now. Has taken over six months to get this far.PPI Reclaimed -

I have just googled Bespoke and i was quite busy yesterday doing reviews on Freedom Finance and i was quite entitled to review "my experience" which i add was not a good one. I told them today (Bespoke) that i do not want to spend my time doing these "reviews" but i feel so strong. I want something done. I really want to spend time living life but this is taking over mine. I was really mad in 2003 and it didn't help my health (what had to come first) but i have realised now to fight is better than bottling it up.
What really got my goat with Bespoke was that i had a standard letter saying how they treat all complaints serious and that they had looked over the documents and found that i asked at application for the ppi so they could not look at it, but, it was only today that they have traced my things. I never had a chance. I asked him where the courtesy to clients and actually looking into the complaint had come in and he could not answer. I am just a "little person" to them.
I want the person singlep to come back on with more info on them. He/she seems very informative.0 -

Still cannot be sure about GISC though. I notice your loan was July 2004. You could always make an enquiry with FOS just to ask if they were GISC registered.

Thank you hun, appreciated very much.
Will give the FOS a ring tomorrow and let you know what they say.;)
Cheers.

Sent first template letter to car sales company in april about ppi they sold me with car finance and this was the reply they have sent.
With reference to your letter dated 15/04/08 we have investigated your claim and can advise that after consideration and having spoken to the Financial Ombudsman’s office, your alleged claim does not fall within the Ombudsman’s jurisdiction.
With this in mind, I am afraid to advise you that we will not consider any settlement with regard to your alleged claim for the following reasons:-
The insurance product you took out was purchased prior to the Group being regulated (14th January 2005)
The insurance product you took out was terminated prior to the Group being regulated (14th January 2005)
You still have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service at the following address:-
Financial Ombudsman Service
South Key Plaza
183 Marshall Ward
London
E149SR
Can anyone advise me what to do next?
Is this just a standard fob off in hope I will give up or is there any truth in the statement about the Group (Lookers/Taggarts motor group) not being regulated prior to the date quoted?
Thanks.0 -

I know who to come to if my (Dads) LTSB goes that far!!LTSB PPI - £770 ish for dad
LTSB PPI for dad - £1800 for dad
Barclays PPI claim for self-£2204
Dads home insurance - reduced by £200 a year "WE DO NOT LIVE IN FLOOD AREA AND I DON'T SEE WHY WE SHOULD PAY FOR THOSE THAT DO - I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR"!0 -
Tiggrae, i have posted alot today on the Bespoke thing and have spoken to them as well. See my posts and also i wanted you to look into this insurance thing and the enforcement place in Gib (ie the email you posted). Does that mean that they needed to be regulated or just hold a licence.
Were they allowed to sell insurance or not. I am confused.0 -
On another note i telephoned the FOS today asked about the ppi bit of my complaint with Firstplus and they have told me to "hang on". I have stressed to them the limitations thing but they still said to "hang on". I have emailed them too just for confirmation in writing and hopefully will get a reply soon. I did say that it was outside their jurisdiction and they said you had the loan and ppi when you settled in 2003. What do you think of that? I am afraid that they will come back in a few months saying "sorry" and then i am stuck with not being able to make my claim. Sarah said they would not put you in that position but me being me seems to think that maybe they don't want me to waste my money with the courts as i would only lose.0
