Going to send this off to a&L this morning, does it read ok to people (wanted to keep it short and sweet)

In January 2005 I took a second loan out with Alliance and Leicester for £X, of which some was used to settle on existing loan and the balance placed into my account.

It has recently come to my attention that A&L have been fined for mis-selling Payment Protection on loans sold between 2005 and 2007 – when my loan was taken out.

Whilst I remember discussing PPI being added to the loan, I did advise that as I worked as a temporary member of staff through an agency, I didn’t think I would be covered. I was assured this was not the case.

Given the findings in the recent investigations, I would like to ask that you refund to me all the payment protection (and associated interest) element of my loan as I believe it was mis-sold.

If you state that the insurance was not mis-sold, I require a full breakdown of the reasons why.
No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

no idea what my nerdnumber is - i am now officially nerd 229, no idea on my debt free date

    Good morning.

Are you saying that you paid for recorded post and they have not provided you with a tracking number ?

I do know they have changed the look of the receipt here in Wales, not sure about anywhere else, but they are white like normal looking receipts and the tracking number is on there but very small, but other than that yes hun enquire with the post office that done this for you.;)

    Good luck.
