Fancy they pick the cheapest:rolleyes: I presume if they settle through good will on others it makes them look good:eek: I just hope this is settled for you as you have been messed about enough on all these. One mess up after the other. At least your latest adjudicator seems to be on the case.:D
Thanks maxdp, i would imagine this is going to be a lot longer as they will probably put up a fight. Its not been that long with this one but just seems forever with my complaints as I live and breathe PPI.

The Barclays Firstplus one is taking forever and I want this sorting mighty quick as it makes me ill to think of this one. I get so wound up here as I know they actually set out to rip us off and also mislead us with the selling issue too. I hope I get this sorted quick now. All I get when I ring is "your comments have been noted".

Di, going off early now as I am so tired again. I feel like I will drop off over the computer soon. I have not sat in our living room for ages (computer in the bedroom) so I feel like different scenery and also trying to watch something as I feel I need a break. My head is beginning to hurt again.:o

Rest up, in fact I may even get an earlier one tonight if I can, and if I'm lucky due to my son's anxiety, will see how it goes, his dad is keeping him amused for me right now.:D ;)

Catch you tomorrow then hun, hope that hurt head goes away...... .

    Have a good night.:A

Yes you can go to the FOS for unfair rebate against Barlcays Firstplus. Just make your compaint first to firstplus about the unfair rebate and see what they say. They usually offer you something which again is unfair (that is normal for them to offer 78% pro rata which is only against the PPI remaining usually and they forget what you have already paid and also the interest against it). After you receive their final response (or another offer which MOST people refuse again as this again is a rip off) you then go to the FOS with your complaint. If you are made an offer again then you need to write back to refuse (if it is something which you would not accept) and ask for their final response.

You give them 8 weeks to respond just like the misselling.

    Morning.........:D .

Wonder if I will receive a hardcopy of the adjudicators email through the post, because shouldn't I also have the chance to forward any further information, like his email just stated that he has given them 2 weeks to get back due to the issues he has raised, which gives the 2 parties a chance to forward any further info, but I would not have known about this if I had not emailed, depending when he had been dealing with this??

I never got a copy of the email via hardcopy through the post. Also what further information have you got. I have got my SAR from Co-op but not forwarded it to them. All I have forwarded is copies of the agreements and my argument is plain and simple. "NO CHOICE" and INDUCED TO MORE DEBT". Nothing else. What would you send here Di so I know with mine??

I see, maybe its because they thought an email is enough to confirm.

I really do not know what else to send really, I think they have everything they do need...... , and they have already got the copies of the agreement and all the correspondence letters..... , best to leave it there I think, because it may hold it out longer otherwise.
Like yourself I have stacks of SAR but I think my agreement should say it all, its states Homemaker and the amount of monthly income (then just the children's benefits).

What do you think, do you think the agreement should help my case ?

I do remember when speaking to him, he did actually say something like, he has all the information he needs, so whether that was a good sign or not I do not know....

I think you have been missold the lot to tell you the truth Di. How can they have "child benefits" as YOUR income. Its so wrong how they do this. No mortgage or other would accept child benefit as income. Then to offer PPI against this too it is madness.
