Just a thought due to being curious of the Endeavour Unfair rebate, do you think it will do any harm in just emailing to find out at what stage they are at currently ?

Although I do have a feeling its not even been looked over yet to know if they will be looking at it to pass on or not, but I am sure on my last one, after the acknowledgment letter it was about a week after they returned them back to me, I may be wrong and just confused here, as that other one was about mis selling and sent to them in June this year but I'm sure by the end of that same month it was returned back to me then, will see if I can find the letters and paperwork for this.

It could just be though that they still not got to that stage yet due to the higher volume in complaints.
Di just done this post about 10 times and a long one too and the site keeps going down so I will post later when they have sorted this out. Its really annoying.
  • Hi there and Welcome.

So your paying out £110 a month then ?

Is one for the car and the other for the cover ?

Just want to make sure I got it right here.

Have you the paperwork/agreements with these hun?

I would otherwise contact them and request for copies of these, they may charge up to a £1.
I would also request for a written breakdown to see where all this money is going, we can then move on from there.

Maybe someone else will post here to guide you here, hopefully.

Please post anytime for further questions hun, good luck!

    Hi Di.

[/FONT]I’ve got my original (signed) credit agreement with my HP company (Marsh Finance), but all I have from Creation is a letter detailing my payments, APR, what I can claim for, etc. I’ll phone them this afternoon for a copy of my agreement. Should this be a signed copy?
    I’m currently paying:-
    1) £322.50 a month to Marsh Finance (incorporating £268.32 for the car and £54.18 for PPI)
    2) £56.20 to Creation Consumer Finance, also for PPI.
Sorry if I seem a bit ditsy – finances not my strong point – but hope this info paints the picture a bit more clearly.
Thanks for the cheery welcome to the forum by the way! :D

You certainly sound like you have been missold here TWICE maybe. You need to write to whoever sold the PPI to you at the time of the car purchase.

Just send the first letter and then you have wait 8 weeks for a full and final response to this. Send it recorded delivery and then you have a proof. From the template letter add/delete as many reasons as you can and good luck.

    Hi there,

Thanks for the advice. I was sold everything by a Financial Advisor (Hmmm...) at Carcraft, so I guess it should be them that I write to. Could you please tell me where to find the template letter? Sorry, I'm just finding my feet on this site and there seems to be a lot to take in!

    Thanks again,

    Sal

    Hi Sal.......:D

When you request for your agreements they should be the copies of the ones you signed.;)

I would defo get a reclaim letter in too like what Marshallka has said.

Get the letter in, and the agreements will be here in good time, they do also tend to send these anyway if I remember rightly when they respond to you, but you could try by contacting them just in case.

If you need further info hun, please yell anytime.

Did I read right your on maternity leave?, good luck and congrats. , I'm wishing you all the best.:j

Keep us posted hun, we will do all we can to help guide you through this.

Template you will find on here to help you through this, add as much to your letter as you can, they have 8 weeks to respond.

If not successful, please post back to us, another letter can be sent.

Thanks for the congrats, too. My little girl's 4 months old now and doing really well - hopefully I can spoil her even more if I get this business resolved...

Will get onto letter writing this afternoon and keep you posted.

Aww your daughter is 4 months old then, aww there's sweet, I bet she is a real beauty.;) :A .
Well done anyway hun, brill news.

And with pleasure, your very welcome, please just post anytime and we hope you have a good outcome out of this.
We look forward to hearing about it when you have the response, but hun, if they say they will not uphold it, do not worry, because the main of us receive the first letter as a bog standard fob off letter, and another is sent to them after if this is the case, so we will keep it all crossed that this will be successful first time round.:j ;) .

  • Hi guys

Following on from your fantastic advice last week I have today received a copy of my CCA for the secured loan we had with First Plus which we settled in Marach this year when we moved.

What perplexes me though is the CCA shows the PPI to be £5048.12, but the accompanying letter states it to be £4384.60 of which we were given a rebate of £1054.04 when we settled on 14/3/08. This loan was taken out for £22,000 on 17.2.07. The balance we had to pay to settle on 14.3.08 was £25,993.19.

Strangely they have also attached a copy of the PPI policy which we never did receive at the time of taking out the loan.

The CCA looks fine, both me and my husband signed it and also both signed for PPI (although underneath it does state PPI is only for single life not joint and valid for 5 years even though we both had to sign it???

So what do I do now?, I am not sure how much to try to claim or even if I have a valid claim?, both me and my hubby have sick pay with work for a full year anyway.

Any advice on my next step?

    Hi there hun
I will get back to this shortly, but briefly I would contact them and ask them for a full written breakdown of this, I know they have added the figures here but they do not state how they were worked out or how it was broken down to leave you with a higher amount to pay to settle.

They should provide this for you, then you could add the breakdown on here, it will be worked out for you to see what is what and how they worked it all out.

And as your already covered anyway they should have checked this out with you first and not have added this on your loan.

So you have a good case here already, personally I would get a letter in to complain to them, and if it is only now they have provided you with a copy of the CCA then why only now and not before? yet we have had a few like that.

Happy you have received this now and check out the above red box "reclaim £1,000's in order to check out the PPI info and there is also a template letter on there to help you through this where they have 8 weeks to respond.

Meanwhile hun, contact them and request for a written breakdown in full.

Hope this helps and I'm sure Marshallka will also post on this at some point today too.;)

Good luck hun, you have a case anyway already.:D

    And post anytime okay hunni.
