    Thanks Di and Marshallka!

The questionnaire is ridiculous. It asked me my marital status at the time (which they should know), my occupation, salary and outgoings at the time (which they should definitely know), whether I had children then, if I had shares or any other loans... Then it went on to ask what the 'sales adviser' asked in my interview. I had no adviser and no interview - and if I didn't, then I'm pretty sure no-one else did! It actually made me quite angry, hence the strongly-worded letter!

Yes I agree the questionaire is pathetic and its a stalling tactic, you have done the right thing, so good on you.......:D .
It will be sorted..eventually, keep us posted, thanks hun, and the best of luck !

  • Following my earlier post where Natwest took 7 months to finish their investigation to conclude that I didn't take out PPI, I faxed them a letter will the details and 7 days to repond.

They have now offered to refund all the premiums but have not added on the interest at 8%. Thay have attached a form for me to sign to say I will accept this as full settlement.

What should I do now? Do I take it or hold out for the interest? Can I draft my own letter saying I accept the money offered in part payment but await the interest payment.

Hi there and wow they made a start with an offer then ?

How long have they given you to sign hun ?

I know going from what Tiggrae had said before that not all offer the 8% interest, which I always assumed this was automatic.

You could write back to them for ASAP to ask them are they willing to provide the 8% interest in full and final settlement offer, if you have time to do this I would request this.

And if you want to add the breakdown on here when you have a minute and I'm sure Marshallka will check the figures out for you, and maybe let you know what you would receive if they also decide to give you the 8%.

I would write back, depending on the timescale of this hun and its good they have made an offer but like yourself I would be fighting for the interest too.

Do you want to wait to see what marshallka suggests to you first ?
She will be back here sometime later.;)

I hope this resolves hunni, good luck !

    Brilliant, well done !:D :j .
I hope they get back to you too, they did respond to my first and not my 2nd, that one is in with the FOS now, they had plenty of time, and you know what to do if you do not hear by 8 weeks, fill in the FOS complaint form anyway and tell the FOS they had over 8 weeks to reply and still nothing.

Good luck, I look forward to hearing the outcome.

I would add that you were deprived of these monies and that you expect them to add on this 8% statutory interest as a court would award.
