Just briefly, as I can go on otherwise......
As some of you know my youngest son has special needs, he has Aspergers syndrome and is a vulnerable lad.
Last year we sorted out some matter regarding bullying at his school, although he is as bright as a button, he cannot cope with too many around him, crowds are an issue, so due to this he was moved to a smaller class and a few mentors were arranged for him.
He does not take part in games or pe as much as we would like him to and sits with his mentor when this lesson is ongoing, or the library, depending on who is available to supervise him.
Again the last few weeks there has been problems of him getting bullied again, the head of yr is one of his mentors, and today during games lesson which was last lesson, he stayed within the head of years office, there was another lad who was told to sit in the office due to being a bad lad, anyway there were no sign of the head of year, he knows my son would be there and he disappeared, this lad had his racket/bat with him but due to again mis behaving was sent to the office, he decided to threaten my son with it, then suddenly kicked my son between the legs and a wallop in his eye, the secretary went passed seen what went on, and asked anyway if that lad hit my son, he said yes, she just said "oh" and walked off !!
There is more to it but he will not be going to school tomorrow until something is sorted because this has been building up over the last few weeks, so I know its not really the right thing to so is leave him off, but we went through all this before and thought it was resolved, besides they should not be left unsupervised !!!
Now my son's eye is black !!!!
Hubby us going to see the head of yr in the morning !!!
(sorry not ppi related but I am soooo angry)
Di this is assault you need to get the police involved in this. I know the other lad is only young but his behaviour is unacceptable. The school are also at fault as they are not looking after a vulnerable person. How dare the secretary walk past. You must do something serious about this I know the police will not prosecute but their involvement is needed. Take photos of your sons injuries.
The school are in big trouble cause they have assigned him a Mentor and he was not being looked after appropriately. This is disgusting I bet you really upset:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Also Di write a report of what, when how and why, all your son has told you write it down because you will forget some of it when you speak to school or police or whoever.:mad:0 -

Has your son had any treatment for the aspergers??0 -
Hi Marshallka
Sorry for butting in no treatment will work only support and learning to live with the ways of a special child who lives in their own world. They do not understand the usual nuisances of life for instance jokes or funny ways we use our language. Although Di's son is quite high functioning cause he is Aspergers which is the higher end of the Autistic spectrum.:mad:0 -
Thanks Maxdp and Marshallka
I have wrote everything down, rang my nephew who works for the police force, he has logged it all, and a letter will be sent to the LEA dept too.
My brother in law is going to take come pics as he is a pro at this, we have taken some already as well but my in laws camera is the professional one.
My son's specialist do not believe in medication for this, as there do not seem to be any, but he does need reassuring on everything, and cannot do things on his own, my hubby takes him to school and back in the car as my son loses sense of direction, also not able to cross roads without having anyone to cross with him, its just a matter of attending to his needs a bit more than any child of his age really.
Sleep is an issue but no meds are given, he is asthmatic and has a few inhalers including steroids etc.
It seems that we have been going back and forth the last few weeks again with about these bullying matters, and yep its upset me big time, and very angry, there is more I could tell you for what he has been through, he is being tortured !!!:mad:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I took out a loan with First Plus on which I was sold PPI that I didnt really understand, want or need. I have tried to make a claim against First Plus as I feel I was missold this Insurance. I got nowhere with First Plus so approached the FOS. They have written back telling me that as the loan was taken out prior to First Plus joining the FSA on 14th January 2005 they were unable to investigate my claim.
Has anyone else experienced this? More importantly has anyone gone on to succesfully challenge First Plus and reclaim insurance payments?
Many Thanks Steve0 -
Was going to post this just now in case anyone are wondering what I'm talking about regarding Aspergers lol......;)

Hi Steve
Right do not worry, I know its very annoying, the same thing happened to our Marshallka here who will probably explain her situation.
However, when did you settle this loan if settled yet ?
If you have you could try for the unfair rebate, as I know these would not give much in a loan/ppi rebate anyway, so if you could let us know of when you had settled (if settled) (the year), we can take it from there.
Thanks.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
