    Debt-free and Proud!
    Evening everyone,
I have had to report HFC bank to the Information Commissioners Office for non-compliance with my SAR, I should have had the information by the 1st of October, I rang HFC & also e-mailed them and I have been totally ignored by them.

Any idea what happens now that I have contacted the ICO? this is the first time I've had to do this

    Hi there hun
I would check them out on FSA register and maybe Companies house, maybe a bit of information, reg number etc will come up so you can check out to see if they were covered, yet as its mortgages I am sure it will be okay.

Will see if I can find any details, add them here and maybe you could get in touch with them somehow.
    Back soon.......:D

So you still no news on Picture yet then ?

Oh I love your siggie hunni - lol.
Does anyone know if Central are dealing properly with complaints or are they refusing responsibility saying they are offshore in Guernsey, similar to Freedom/Bespoke?

Probably nothing. I found them a complete waste of time. They told me "they wouldn't want to incriminate themselves would they".

Pinknico thinks that she will be able to go to the FOS with this one???. Quite a few Central ones the last week or two (well 3 actually). Not heard of them before and now all of a sudden this.

Hi, complaints are accelerating every day at FOS and the Competition Commission will report within a matter of days. The brokers are struggling to pay for complaints as new business falls in the credit crunch. Some will not survive but could FSCS then cope, in view of FOS experience? This should be good news but may take time to sort out.

Has anyone heard of Essex County Loans ?
Apparently when Twopart/Eloan.co.uk went into liquidation in May of this year I was informed by its liquidators when I rang them earlier today that these had taken over from twopart, but also liquidated themselves now.

I think it will be a good while yet that twopart will be declared in default with the FSCS, not heard anything yet anyway.
