This lot sound quite dodgy - you give them £15 each so they can launch a claim and then they will tell you the outcome!! Dont send them any money - we will all find out the outcome of any litigation for free! Its hardly important is it.
:D I understand ALOT more than I care to let on :D

Waste of time, you agreed to the T&C and they stated they took the money and will refund it if there is an error, and that's what they did.

But the point is, what we agreed to is not what they did! Their T&C sates that they will contact the customer and offer the goods at the correct price, and if that is not acceptable THEN they will cancel the order and refund.

To my knowledge they have not contacted anybody therefore they have not adhered to the terms and conditions and have unlawfully taken money. I have had no refund.

    Tony,

To be honest this board is the 'It's Gone, but was it any good?' and therefore I would say that this thread is on topic. No-one is forcing you to read it.
I would also say that you seem far more upset about this thread continuing than the people investigating the Argos saga further.

Surely those who have still not had a refund have a right to be unhappy?

You could just ignore this thread and MOVE ON yourself. There are thousands of threads on this site that I'm not interested in so I don't read them. Simple.

Let's all calm down. I think that those who want to discuss the Argos mis-price should be able to continue and those who don't can read a different thread.

All in my opinion of course!

Good post BritishBeef . I would have thought that the only people who would bother coming back to this thread now are those who still have an interest - mainly not getting a refund. Of course there will also be some of the 'forget it' brigade lurkimng to be first with a claim if -IF - the tables do get turned on Homebase.;)

I accept they did do that wrong, but if you wanted it you could have just gone and bought it at the correct price, it was still available on the site.

Wonder what a judge will say?

No. Bevans are a highly respected firm of ambulance chasers who want 10000 people to send them £15 each so they can write a letter.

Of the fools and their easily parted money, Bevans may select 10 people, who will have to pay Bevans a further non-disclosed, unlimited amount for them to 'fight' any possible case. This fee WILL end up in the millions if it goes to court cos Bevans don't mind, they're gaining from it by the hour.

However, Bevans want you to claim this off your Legal Expenses Insurance.
This requires your insurance company to accept that Bevans can help themselves to vast amounts of money, and you also have to peruade your Insurance company that you WILL (to the greatest extent possible) win. (read your insurance policy about this clause, its why I never have legal cover, cos insurance firms don't pay out to fight a case, they only pursue if they will win).

People likely to win in this :- Bevans, should help pay for there xmas party.
People likely to lose :- Fools and there easily departed money.
