Nelly reports a quiet week on the ploppage front and has deduced that the perpetrators may have been on holiday for a few days.
The lull caused a small flock of baby ducks to visit and nelly has spent the day feeding them. He is almost beside himself with warm fluffiness and I understand that he taken up drinking Horlicks. He described with some affection the way that the ducklings had to paddle really hard to reach the bread, I only wish I were capable of properly relaying that sentiment to you.
However, it does appear that the poopers have returned from their sojourn as today nelly was greeted with a large amount of papier mach!...
And a tiny little turd.
Which leads me to thinking that perhaps the culprits are actually a family made up entirely of small children and that finding them may not be as hard as once thoughtEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Huge update from nelly! :rotfl:
and we have found the culprit
too but the saga's not over dum dum duuuuuuuum
After much jetage and camerage
it turns out it is next doors downstairs bog from a recent extension he had put up.
Now the he was quite perplexed about it not particularly happy neither as it happens he was here all day too and watched it unfold.
The thing is his mate did the extension for him which is going to possibly cause some friction.
The other thing is the councill inspect all drainage so its ultimately down to them.
My dad who has delt with the planning dept said they will wriggle like a mental pig on crack to try and get out of kopping for the bill.
But I have been getting on great with the top bloke from the EA because A - I sorted my drains out double pronto
and
B- Im super awesome so he likes meso he can probably put some pressure on them to sort their !!!!!! out
anyway It's a bad situ cos I realy didnt want it to be the neighbour I get on best with and it ended up exactly that
Fingers crossed we can nob it off onto the councill0 -
Council will apologise to EA for getting it wrong and promise to deal with it.
Council deal with it by putting enforcement notice on neighbour.
Neighbour remembers your skill in digging up your driveway to move your own drains and wonders if you are free to lend a hand this weekend........I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
