PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. To be perfectly honest, I'm finding this thread theraputic....makes me realise that my troubles are somehow minor but everything can be managable with a bit of savvy.
I really cannot understand why people find it necessary to make adverse comments about something they don't like---change channel, switch off, go find something you DO like.
My Human Right is to enjoy the things I like without fear of ridicule from others. As long as it is legal & doesn't force folk to do something they don't agree withwhere's the harm.
Might I suggest that if you do not want to read any further you just step away from the thread & leave us to enjoy our double entendre in Peace.Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.
