The EA is back off holls and phoned me yesterday, he said he is phoning United utilities (UU) and hopefully set up a meet for Wednesday.

Now I know that UU havent a clue where their own proper sewage pipe goes cos they made next door dig down to look for it in his half built conservatory.

Right can anyone answer this - cos the house is leasehold it basically means I own the house but someone else owns the land....with this drain being nowt to do with my house that means its possibly the leaseholders problem too?

did you mean possibly the freeholders problem seeing as he owns the land?

Not being pedantic, just finding out myself recently the difference between freehold and leasehold (the latter being one big con re: gound rent?).

Nelly, the further you look into this, the further into someones else poop you find yourself. DO you know who the Leaseholder is?

And you need to update the header on the thread, it's now nearly 15000 views for your poo pipe, shoulda been charging for the high Kaliber (i know, an old non alcohol lager) of the comedy on this thread.

So many people asking so many questions about your pipes, the interrogation from as far as Mongolia, the accusations of mixing up the leaseholder/freeholders etc. etc, it's not like you where expecting the spanish inquisition...........................................

    DUn DUn DUHHHH!!!!

Nobody expects the Spanish Iquisition, our main weapon is surprise, fear and surprise are our main weapons, our 2 main weapons etc. etc. etc.

We live fairly close to a tidal river, & each time I see the high tide I think of Nelly:p Tho quite why I fear it's our doo-doo that's causing *the problem* I don't know! It's not like we're trying to shove it UP his pipe!

*I was going to say causing a stink, but ours down here doesn't smell:rotfl: :rotfl:

Can't beleive that Nelly's not got an "internerd" connection, just as the crucial meetings with the EA were happening.

Took the day off wednesday and me dad came down cos hes been an architect for 50 odd years so hes interested and also clued up about drainage etc. 2 blokes from the EA came, and sodding UU bloke never turned up!!!

I was effing seething, I cant afford days off work because of how busy I am I a self-employed plasterer and 1 day off has a major knock on effect all week till I can catch up

Anyway someone from UU will be phoneing me apparently........he'll be getting a gob full too the dik why didnt they just phone up and say they couldnt make it?

The other EA chap was an aprentice if you like and he will be doing a training log <
:) about my pipe aparently and it'll be part of his training portfolio kinda thing.

My pipe is rapidly turning into the most famous sewer ever :)

The only news as such is I have now done my downstairs drains into the manhole cos they were going into the river pipe but its sorted your honor:)

heck out my loverly new driveway :)
