Rightmove will give us lots of details of what's in houses... and which are empty. A friendly estate agent will even give you a tour of any of them, so you can check out the security/locks ....

I've just got visions of a buglar breaking in to find a table full of parcels where Nelly has carefully packaged up his viking turd ships to send off to his ebay customers thinking they've hit the jackpot and carting the lot home.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall as said burglar starts unwrapping his loot.

Copper pipes from the heating system.
    For starters.
Maybe a nice new fitted kitchen or bathroom fitments.

But surely its easier to rob a proper house that has stuff you can sell easily rather than take up a load of floor boards to get at all the pipes

Like a £1000 plasma that youd get £500 in an hour or two days ripping out pipes for 50 quid?
