5,4,3,2,1 ThunderTurds are Go!!!!!0 -
This thread is great. I think it will rival eagerlearners deposit saga in the end.
Can you get several larger pics from google earth and give each house a number. we could then have a sweepstake on who's turds you've been watching. There seems to be about 1,000 possible culprits so given the number of views I would say not every body will be lucky enough to get their hands on one of "Nelly's turd sweepstake tickets"0 -
Sorry for the delay Nelly...I was out of the office at the end of last week!
Right...you've been speaking to people at the EA? I spoke to a couple of people in my office who have said that someone should come out to the site for a look, but will probably have to work with the local authority on this and it might take quite a while, depending on...er...stuff! Investigations could take a long time!!!
What I can tell you is that the team responsible for your area work from the Birchwood office. The team covers the rivers Roch, Irk, Medlock and Tame (and the river near you is the Roch). The team leader's name is Russell Gettlee. The main EA number for incidents is 0800 807060 and once you report things on that number it's in they system so they basically have to deal with you within a certain time. Minesweeper will have to go on hold!
Oh...and do you know you're in the flood risk area?!0 -

Nice one mate , much apreciated I might give them a gee up tomorow.
Its a flood area 'of sorts' really the lad next door who has lived there 40 years said the river was the highest its ever been last December when we had megga torrents and it still didnt reach the bottom of my decking Where the pipe is actually.
The house is a good 20 feet higher than that and about 60 foot back.
It'd take the sort of rain to flood my house that'd get Noah nervously looking for his wellies0 -
So they've left you sitting like a bump on a 'log'.
