I think you waited for comedy effect (worked) but I think that you've been keeping a log (Another one) of how many Plops are passing down our pipe.

....However the nob who owned it has attached the sink and utility water to these gullys.
So I'll have to redirect them to the manhole but that aint a problem, I've done loads of drainage work over the years.....A house isn't a home without a cat.

Update - my sister and family was round today and I was doing 'the tour' as you do.....
anyway
I was explaining the saga as we got down to the decking and someones washing machine came out of the pipe.
Now.... no....... I dont me an actual Tricity Bendix thing I mean the blue/white water that comes out of them then as we was chatting about where my ducks had gone (they was in the ensuite yesterday) my sister spoted a poo (sorry no pictures)
and aparently there are brown trout and chub fish in the en-suite too

I am more and more convinced that someone has run their waste water drainage into the surface water pipework. Either that or there is some major failure of the local drainage system allowing it to mix.
Have you checked to see if someone nearby has a "non-original" bathroom / cloakroom / en suite?
I suppose there is always the chance that the estate was never plumbed correctly and that the fault has existed since it was built.A house isn't a home without a cat.
