Wow! You really like to quote this don't you?
Where did you cut and paste it from?

Only reason I quote it is because it is relevant to this discussion. Mind telling me how it is NOT relevant to the whole crux of this matter.

What this one line is stating is that NO contract was formed. The issue of whether or not a contract has been formed is what this is about. So, in this circumstance, I feel it is totally relevant.

Those who have actually made cleared payment (regardless of whether it has been refunded or not) and wish to commence legal action please PM me.

You'd be better off fighting a case you have a chance of winning. If you want to go down this route get a 1/2 hour free from some solicitor who understands contract law.

Bush TV/DVD combi (Product No: 536/1108)

I refer to your order for the above product and thank you for placing an order with Argos.co.uk

Unfortunately there were was an accidental error on the price shown on our website for this product during 27th August causing the product to be advertised for £0.49 rather than the correct price of £349.99. This error has now been rectified and in accordance with Condition 4.2(b) of our Website terms and conditions I am writing to advise you of this problem.

We have therefore had to reject all orders placed at the incorrect price in accordance with Condition 2.3 of our Website terms and conditions and with regret we cannot accept your order.
