Probably only about 0.05% of those 1000 people that ordered the TV/DVD actually wanted it.

The rest would have ended up on Ebay.

I can't believe the people on here that genuinely think TV/DVD recorder combinations costing 49p is a normal price and should be accepted.

Expect the claims to start rolling in for lost days off work and sleepless nights waiting to see if order accepted.

This one was never going anywhere !

yeah, but if they had hundreds of orders, one might slip through the net and get lucky.....

    you never know.

remember the yves rocher typo with the shower gel down from £11 to £1 and you could order loads and get free p+p and about 3 free gifts all for nothing....well they honoured all those orders.
not in quite the same context as a .49p telly.
    but who knows........

When Dell had their misprice projectors and photo printers I ordered the printer, received the pdf and then got a cancellation email, about 3 weeks later the printer turned up so it is possible that some could slip through the net.

I perhaps thought it was a special hidden bargain give away for promotional purposes. They had an extra special bargain item to be found on their website at an astonishing "WOW" price if you could find it. ;o)
Possibly - but if you ever came to argue this in court your barrister would have to disclose your contributions to this forum to the defendant! End of case.
