I know I can ring... I guess not at this time of night...but some people have ordered by debit card and say that money has been taken from their current account (see previous posts). I thought a debit from a debit card was instant (like a cashback from a supermarket from a debit card or a cash withdrawal from a cash machine).... but maybe you are right and it has only been reserved.0

I have just checked and they have taken the funds from credit card for the Argos order, but not from the bank card for the homebase offer that was done after the Argos one.
Can't tell if it's only holding but it looks like it's taken as my credit has changed.
Gives me more hope, but won't hold breath.0 -

I refer to your order for the above product and thank you for placing an order with Argos.co.uk
Unfortunately there were was an accidental error on the price shown on our website for this product during 27th August causing the product to be advertised for £0.49 rather than the correct price of £349.99. This error has now been rectified and in accordance with Condition 4.2(b) of our Website terms and conditions I am writing to advise you of this problem.
We have therefore had to reject all orders placed at the incorrect price in accordance with Condition 2.3 of our Website terms and conditions and with regret we cannot accept your order.
On behalf of Argos I apologise for the inconvenience caused and can assure you that any charges debited to your payment card, will be fully refunded as soon as possible.
