Argos have said some prices may be wrong, in which case they will let you know so you can cancel your order should you wish.
Hi,
It is a mistake ONCE and maybe TWICE but to continue, as Argos have, is downright incompetence and they are breaking the law if they do not safeguard themselves by ensuring that this mistake doesn't coninue to reccur.
It is their legal responsibility to prevent misprices and continuing disregard for the law is what this is all about.
I am not saying that they intend to defraud anyone by doing this but once again, they have a responsibiity to the public.
If someone genuinely came accross that site and spotted the price, thinking it was the bargain of a lifetime could cancel the order that they had already placed elsewhere for a TV and order this one, only to lose out on the TV when it didn't arrive causing great inconvenience, distress and upset and possibly financial loss especially if they had secured a once only offer on the other purchase.
Yeah, let's sue the b*st*rds.

I've not bothered - can't see the point. To all who have - don't get too stressed on Tuesday when the cancellation e-mails are sent out. If you think you have a legal case then good luck pursuing it!0 -
Still not able to order anything.0
