    ADSL is available in your arealg_green.gifYour exchange is also enabled for ADSL Max services
    According to BT Wholesale, your phone line should be able to support a 8Mbps or greater ADSL connection via ADSL Max.

    Standard ADSL RAG results:
    lg_green.gifYou can receive 2Mbps ADSLlg_green.gifYou can receive 1Mbps ADSLlg_green.gifYou can receive 512Kbps ADSLlg_green.gifYou can receive 256Kbps ADSL

    People keep trying to sell me adsl but I can get a max 512kbps so why would I want to leave my nice 2mb cable modem?

    That's a good sign.

    How long do they suggest that it will take before your speed upgrade is applied?

    If, after following their instructions, you still aren't getting your rated speeds, go to this link and follow the instructions for all of the sockets in the house.

    I saw a immediate improvement in my sync and download speeds.

    It has been changed to ADSL max from 2Mbps.
