Vanilla.. my house is a total hovel.. I don't expect it will ever be tidy while I have children so as long as I keep on top of the major stuff it's ok.

I keep doing naughty giggles to myself.. cauliflower cheese.. *giggle*.. chicken smells nice though *giggles* cauliflower cheese

Tia - the barefoot sandals kit we've bought comes with 15 pairs of little charms to put at the cross over at the top of the sandal. They are so pretty. I'll let you know if they're easy to make but it just looks like threading beads on like a necklace. We'll see.

June accounts now done but wrist is sore from typing so i'm going to do another three months tomorrow, three on sunday and finish off on Monday. Can't believe i'm going to get them in so soon xx

    Hello peeps

Havee finally found my way back here. I have been a total lazy slob for the last 3 weeks and I am now going to print off the whole list for htis week with the intention of getting the house clean before I go to work at 1 o clock on Sunday. I HAVE to do it this time as we have another French student arriving at 6 o clock on Monday.

I have nowhere managed to read the thread so I do hope everyone is well and not having too hard a time of anything.

Hope to post over the weekend to let you know how I get on.

  • Am busy finding my office & desk - sounds rather grand but its just the spare room! Filing, flinging, freecycling and Ebaying as I go! Its so nice to get rid of stuff and see more space - this room could be huge in the end.

Found some farmfoods money off vouchers - any good to anyone?

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.

    Hi all,

Thanks for all the messages today :)

Just got back from funeral. Went ok. No major hiccups. Scary moment when MIL who was stood infront of me almost collapsed going into the mass and myself and SIL had to catch her... and then she actually passed out in the back of the funeral car on way back from the crem for a few minutes... poor SIL and OH were trying to struggle to bring her round and got a bit of a fright obviously. She come round though and seemed ok then back at the wake chatting away merrily to her union of catholic mothers friends

FIL got a great send off. Was really amazing. The church holds over 400 and there wasnt even standing room - people were standing outside! Then there were the people who only came to the wake too.....

Wont be doing any cleaning/flying today. Have sent OH to the pub with some lads he grew up with through scouts (his dad ran the venture scouts unit and they all turned up today... including one lad who was actually serving in baghdad but got leave and has actually flown home to attend the funeral!! Shows how important FIL was to alot of people...) So once hes home we'll get a takeaway tea and curl up on the sofa together for a cuddle and no doubt a cry.

Baby will probably come over weekend if not tonight.. as ive been in agony since last night... but was determined to make it through today!! :) Can relax now...

    xxxx

Pigpen - can you add remove and clean light shade for the master bedroom please? I spotted a huge (hopefully dead) wasp in the light fitting and keep forgetting about it :o

WIL is a right drama queen eh?

It's lovely that so many people made the effort to pay their respects. Big cuddles to you Johanne. Can you feminise (sp) FILs name as a middle name for baby if it is a girl? I'm sure baby will come soon, births and deaths, seems to be the way things go. 2nd last funeral we had 3 heavily pregnant cousins and at the last wake, the babies came along, which was lovely xx

Hi all - hope you're all well, and hugs to all that need it (()). I've been really lazy this week, only managed one day of flying. My plan is to do all the laundry tonight, s and s the kitchen and collapse. Tomorrow I'm looking to do the whole flat to level three and beyond! I'm going to do it in HHC, rotating rooms. I've no other plans, except going to Mr Ts, so I might as well be productive. OH is away next week, so the flat will not be too bad ;)

    Happy Friday all!
