"bring happiness to Nicki (and a really handsome guy with loads of money and a HHUUUUUUUUGE.. house.....) and warts and boils and sweaty arm pits to the 'gf' - oh and money and yummy treats to Nicki too!!"
Definately agree with that one, actually, why the blokes bit, can we not just send her a whopping great dildo, 2 bunnies to cuddle and lots of cash? That's all the roles of a man we need isn't it? I think dishing out good karma with men involved is likeshooting people at the same time.....
Can we add that we hope the GFs next poop is 'hedgehog like' ?
:rotfl:**wonders if Tia has stopped giggling yet about farts**
Pigpen, what an idea, see I have a different attitude with my partner, I don't care who he chats up as long as if he goes with anyone he doesn't come back! He's been unfaithful several times and is on his final chance.
Johanne, big hugs, my partners relative does the passing out thing for attention so part of me thought the same as SSL. Your FIL sounds like he was one heck of a lovely guy, very well respected, bet he changed many peoples lives and influenced many positive choices. I know many are sending the 'drop now' vibes but I hope instead she waits a little while and you and your partner get a peaceful evening together tonight as it sounds like you could do with it. However I am thinking Monday.....no idea why...just Monday. One day I might be more organised...........

Loving all the vibes being handed about and have chanted them all too
Can I please have one for the huge gland on my neck to go down??? Please???
DH currently cooking and ear bashing me about his work so sneaking on for a bit of quiet. Its wine o'clock here though so clink clink
Have a nice evening folksLightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!
Baby on board!:D0 -
Just got DS to bed. The big grin on his face as he got in with his big boy duvet and pillow was brilliant. Will pop in to check on him in a bit and make sure he is covered up.
I'm cooking a leftover sauce with some pasta, and going to chill out for a bit before doing anything else. Feeling rather shattered, even though i had an hour on the bed with a book. Early night for me tonight i think as there is no chance of a lie in tomorrow.
DH was going to drive home through the night tonight and be home 3ish. I've told him to see how he feels before driving as he is a walking zombie at the minute. I need to sleep, not worry that he might crash the car. Hope he texts me though to let me know what he is up to.
Johanne glad today is over for you, and it went as well as these things can. I also hope you have a couple of days to get your head clear before baby. You have had so much stress and need to relax.
Nicki you were putting the changes in place for you long before he left. You are a strong independent woman, and you are going to be so successful, and get the life you want for you and L. Big hugs to you.
mudbath wow - that is some flying today. Party plans sound fab.
Right - dinner ready, so will be reading some of the threads while eating, then see if i can bear to do anything else tonight, but if not that is fine, and i am going in the bath.
Michelle, x0 -
Logging out for the week now. Just off to pick up DH from the airport - he's been gone all week so we are all excited!0

thanks everyone but can we STOP the labour vibes?? Just you see OH hasnt come home yet - even though he promised he'd only be about an hour.... just spoke to him and hes sozzled
I feel rotten and have got pains.... but dont wanna be a naggy mrs and demand he comes home.. and lets face it what use would he be now anyway?!!!!
 Hes stayed off the booze all week so could drive me the hospital if needed.. and no midwife is gonna let him in the labour ward drunk as a skunk. Problem is im trying to be mad at him but cant be...... but i am mad at his "mates" as they all said id "go" tonight.. so whhhhyyy let him get in such a state??! And let him get in such a state when hes gotta get home alone as none of them live this side of the city??!
Id also been waiting for him to come home to have tea so am starving and as only had a piece of toast 1/2 a sandwich and a packt of crisps all day... and now need to go cook as the nearest chippy is 5 mins walk but im in my PJS and in too much pain to get changed and then walk there as it hurts when i stand up and walk any distance .. and cant order as no-where will deliver for an order under £7 around here!!!
Fed up.. suppose i'll go make some toast and get into bed with my uni book.. and just pray i dont need the hospital until hes sober tomorrow afternoon! :rolleyes:0 -
Oh Johanne honey, I was dreading reading that post. Just knew what it was going to be. Right, ok, if need be you can get a taxi or if necessary ambulance to the hospital. Labour ward would sure as heck sober him up if it does happen tonight, he won't be the first father under the influence and I doubt would be the last. Have you got someone who you can call if you need them, a back up? Get something to eat is your main priority, stuff him for tonight, let him get it out of his system, if you can afford it and want something extra without cooking order takeaway with left overs for tomorrows lunch!
tracy, why the suprise? :rotfl:

i'd like to say that i had a relaxing bath, but nextdoors daughter was p'ing about with some mates, and it sounded like someone was breaking in. So i ended up finishing it early to see what was going on.
Have managed to epilate my legs and bikini line  . That was blooming hard i can tell you when i can't even see that area  best have the baby soon before it grows back i can tell you, cos i would struggle to do that again.
quick list check, then bed, cos DH just rang and said he is definitely out for the night. So i won't be seeing him till at least midday tomorrow, possibly later. Oh well, better than worrying half the night and then still being the one who is having to get up with DS.

- DS’s new room – [strike]spend some more time sorting out the ironing and clothes boxes in there[/strike] all DS's 18-24 month clothes now ironed and in wardrobe, moses basket covers now on, and assembled on stand ready to move to my room
- [strike]Wrap book sold on amazon [/strike]
- [strike]Go to post office – post parcel as above[/strike]
- [strike]WM – snowsuits/DS’s bedding[/strike]
- Spend 15 minutes filing
- 9LI/9JK schemes of work
- [strike]Pick ds up from nursery[/strike]

See you all tomorrow. No doubt early, no doubt with a long list that needs doing, not least i am washing my hair and DH can watch DS while i do it.0 -
Johanne - what about having your mum on standby? - and sod being a nag, if you think you need him there, then get him to come home.
Just take it easy and rest if you can. 1st labours can be really long. And like Lil-me says, you can just ring an ambulance if you need to.0 -

I had MIL here neign a pain in the !!!!, OH got back at 6:45pm and we have had visitors ever since, his mate as also arrived and said his missus is gonna pick him up at 11:30pm:eek: brilliant eh!
Johanne i am same as lil me was kind of expecting that, its not so bad hun the staff have seen it many a time. When he gets in ply him with plenty of coffee and water.
Lil me was that a joke re the affair??:o
ChaMichelle how'd you manage that with a baby bump, are you a contortionist? certainly a safer option though, heres a funny tale, well its funny now. I was scheduled for a roof top delivery baby #4, anyways he was no longer breech when i got to hossie. In preparation for the operation i got my OH to immac and he burnt me ladies bits, they actually bled a little bit too. I was like john wayne for a whole day and only bath took the pain away, funnily enough the day after i was completely fine which was a good job as that was when i was scheduledYou can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?0 - [strike]

:rotfl: Michelle, you're brave! Probably for the best that your DH is staying out, I hate it when I know DP is tired and driving. Enjoy having the bed to yourself, night night...
Think I might opt for the early night myself, I need to start going earlier, kids back at school next week and ok I've still been getting up etc but I need to be able to get 2 boys ready and out the door on time......so I think I will vacuum (no not mad, detatched house, neighbours away, kids sleep through but a nightmare when awake as they hate the vacuum cleaner so it's easier) fill dishwasher, sort brekkie stuff out, dogs out then bed time I think...oh after freecycle/email/bank check
chunky, sorry, affair you've lost me thereif you mean my partner not being able to think with his brain rather than his penis in the past then no, no joke I'm afraid.
One day I might be more organised...........
