I've had some news that has left me gutted, it seems my ExOh, who is claiming benefit is in the process of buying not 1 but 3 properties in the Caribbean, 1 to live in & 2 to let out to provide his income & here's me worrying about how I'm going to pay to have my exhaust on my car repaired!
Have a good evening.
Hugs Hester

Rzl, Do you want some lemon glac! icing for the top of your cakes?
I've made tooooo much....please save me from eating all.
I'm sure it won't keep.
Hmmm now why does it not like my e with it's little accentOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Hehehe... Somehow I don't think it will keep, either. Not even long enough for you to pack it up and stick it in the post
BTW, I've had that problem with ! coming up instead of e-acute. It never used to happen, but it didn't like it the other day when I said I was drinking rosé wine.
Hmm, it worked that time...Operation Get in Shape

Oh you show off Rzl, it used to work for me
I made the usual lemon drizzle recipe, but I added some juice into the mix and then made glac! with the rest.
Instead of a loaf tin, I used muffin cases. I only had 12 paper cases but really the mix would have made about 14 or I suppose 1 loaf and 6 muffins.
The muffins rose into little peaks, so it was a bit tricksy to drizzle the lemon juice on, without it spilling over the edges. So next time, 14 muffins and they will leave a space to drizzle and then top with lemon Glac! icing.

ros!....what's going on we can have wine but not icing
(In all seriousness, I have no idea why it's working for one but not the other- and why on earth has it just done what it's just done in that quote...)

Big plans for today though. While you all are sound asleep I'll be busy as a little bee.

Haribo Send my condolences to Pink.Have a lovely time and spoil her rotten.
Gin Men. Don't think I would have cooked the roast. I think I would have served up Lettuce Soup followed by Tuscan Bean Slop.

Be fair Aussie. He only got kept in the clink for the night. Hardly deserving of such severe punishment.0 -
Hester still ring on Monday .... you never know
gin - glad hubby turned up safe and sound ..... well until you got hold of him anyway
today is Grey Hair Be Gone Day so I'm dripping purple stuff all over the keyboard - this colour can only be gotten in Wilkos so I bought their entire stock of two last time I was in and this was the last - hope they hae some more in next month.
exoh finally phoned dd(11) - told her that he had a flat tyre and me that he had lost his phone - told dd(18) that his mother had been ill - hmmmmmm. Of course as usual dd(11) gave him hell along the lines of "oh hi daddy .... oh that's ok I quite understand ..... did you see dr who last night ....." so that when I told him how upset she'd been and how she'd taken it out on me I am once again the Bitter Twisted Witch of West London.
Fellow OSers I have a confession to make - I strayed from the Path Of Righteousness that is Twinks Hobnobs and branched out into some inferior biscuits out of a book - I have a pile of mishapen crumby things to show for my efforts - I have learned my lesson and will never stray again.
hugs to all
stefI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080
