Good Morning All
Hope everyone is well ((hugs)) if you need them.
This week has gone pretty quick. Im sorry Ive not had the chance to post! Whilst the kids have been busy at the local leisure centre for Half Term activities, Ive been able to work an extra hour! I pay the same as having a sitter at home, at least the kids are getting exercise.
My mum is at Manchester airport now as I type, waiting for her flight to Florida. She is spending 2 weeks out there visiting my brother. OH took her this morning as her original lift was messing her around!
Up to my neck in my washing. Changed all the bedding y-day, aswell as washing the living room scatter cushions & covers! Thats not incl the accumilated washing since Thursday! Im debating when to change over my winter curtains! Think I may hang on a while!
Roast Pork for dinner today!
Take care and have a great week end.

Morning all!
I havent posted in a while on here (the thread seems to spiral out of control but the time I get round to reading/posting it!) Went out last night for someones 30th Birthday - I really sound old before my time (21) but it just bores me getting really hammered and going clubbing. All went for a chinese and had a few drinks, everyone else went clubbing and me & DH went home (at 12!!) I just dont see the point anymore, no longer appeals!
Going to have a 'potter about the house day' today, WM & BM on....
Hope everyones okay xx0 -
:hello: Good morning all :hello:
Happy birthday to Suesy Sue :bdaycake:
Penny Pincher!! (((hugs to your DH)))
Well, I would say that DH and I had a lovely day in London yesterday, but we didn't.Let's just say that the team didn't turn up, mentally or physically. Well, apart from one of them - but when a rugby team consists of 15 men (theoretically) then you do expect them to play together. Apparently the captain has said that there's going to be an inquiry into why they were so sh**.
In the meantime, DH has suggested we write a letter and ask for the cost of our tickets from them.
DH has just said that he doesn't think that we're unreasonable in doing that.
We decided that instead of taking the train all the way to Twickenham, we would take the tube to Richmond and walk. Ok, so we'd got tickets to go all the way to Twickenham, but after the fish and chips that we'd had on Friday night we needed a way to walk it off.It was probably the most enjoyable part of the day, being nosey and we stopped off for coffee and tiffin on the way back.
Anyway, back to OS... I'll take some sausages out for supper for tonight and have it with beans and tomatoes. It's a really really easy recipe from Gordon Ramsey's Fast Food book. Lunch will probably be beans on toast. You'd better not come anywhere close to DH and I today. :rotfl:Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Morning all,
Lovely here - but rather nippy. Dh wants to play golf this afternoon, but the aftereffects of this virus are still wiping me out - so we shall see.
The Chinese meatballs (More with Less) were lovely - the meatballs are in a sweet and sour sauce but most of the veggies are stirfried separately and served on the side for crunch. I crushed Holly's glucosamine tablet and put it in a bit of sauce on top of her complete food - and it was wolfed down:T - thanks to everyone yesterday for the advice - and I will try the cod liver oil.
Have a whites wash to hang out - had to virtually boil ds1's school shirts and PE kit - what do boys do to cuffs? He showers regularly as well! Bad luck on the blazer Pen-Pin - I was hoping ds1's would do him next year as well as it was huge in Sept but he has shot up like a weed this year. His feet have just gone from 5.5 to 7 - my baby just got his first pair of men's shoes:eek: - although they were cheaper in the Clarks sale than the kid's ones they were offering:D
Will review the contents of the freezer for dinner - could be sausage casserole or pasta with crumbled sausage sauce - yes there is a theme developing here.
Happy Birthday to Suesysue
Hugs to Gin - and fingers crossed for Mr Gin.

Good morning all,
Happy birthday to suesy sue
Pen-Pin my condolences to your DH.
gin hopefully your DH will learn his lesson without any serious consequences. ((hugs))
Overindulged last night so got up and peddled like mad on the exercise bike and burned 1000 cals. Will do some more later too.
Did some batch cooking yesterday now so have some tuna pasta bake in the freezer along with lots of hm lentil soup. The chicken pie is in the fridge and will be used over the course of today and tomorrow. Will carry on today and make some chilli and bolognese sauce for the freezer too.
Need to avoid the supermarket as money is tight till payday. WM was £65 to repair, BG want £82 to settle my gas and leccy bills now that I have switched suppliers. So, OS storecupboard challenge it is.
Beginning to wonder if I am in the very early stages of the menopause. I'm due on in the next couple of days (sorry if this is tmi) and today I woke up feeling very panicky and almost depressed. Very strange. Horrible feeling too. Has anyone else felt like this? It doesn't happen every month but it has happened a few times now.
Need to hit the shower as I'm heading out to Mass shortly then it more washing, ironing, cleaning and cooking. Not quite the lazy day that N9eav wanted us all to have. Have a super Sunday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning all
((hugs)) to Gin - men eh a couple of drinks and they think they can fight the world - hope it all works out ok and he learns his lesson.
Hester - you should have taken the phone off the hook, I'm sure all your important family and friends would know your mobile number if an emergency cropped up and they could have contacted you on that.
White wash hanging on the line and I am keeping my beady eyes on the clouds to whip it in if it starts to rain. Roast Chicken and all the trimmings for dinner. Got half an eye on the Marathon. Always enjoy watching that. Remember when my 2 were small I would take them up to my mum's overnight cos she is on the route and would spend the morning watching all the runners go by, avoiding the water bottles as they were thrown on the pavement
My fav footie team on the tele later this afternoon so will be settling down for that. My son says he always knows what the score is from his room by the way I am screaming and shouting a t the teleWell you have to get involved dont you
Have a good day everyone0 -

did not get up till 10,, but spent the whole of yesterday with a horrible D + V bug from 12 yesterday all day and night, went to bed at 8 last night, could not keep anything in me, so had to keep getting up  , feel better today but just weak, going to try and eat something in a while.
OH will be in charge of cooking today, we have roast pork and all the trimmings, not sure if I will have any, but we will see. I think its going to be a day on the sofa for me, OH needs to go and see his dad, and drop some films off to MR T to be developed, I think we took 12 rolls on our holiday  , I don't like digital cameras, much prefer the old fashioned type.
Suesey sue, happy birthday xx
Gin    to Mr Gin

Morning all
I've been up for ages but only just managed to get online, for once i've done most of the housework before coming on here! Just sitting down now with a nice cup of tea and having a nosy, OH has gone to play footy and DD is next door playing.
I was going to have a completely lazy pyjama day but i'm going to have to go to Mr T's as my vouchers for joining the baby and toddler club arrived yesterday but they're only valid until today - surely they should have a longer date on them??!But its all stuff i'll need anyway and i'll get £7 in points so when they're changed to Clubcard Deals it'll be even more - better get my a**e in gear and get down there when OH comes back with the car.
Got a sausage casserole in the slow cooker so just need to peel the spuds and do the veg then tea is all prepared. I'm going to get the food processor from my mams and get the big block of cheese grated and frozen into portions and also turn 1/2 a loaf into breadcrumbs as its gone stale (Dozy OH opened the new bread right out of the shopping bag without checking if there was any in the bread bin first  )
Anyway, hope everyone has a nice day
Kate xxx0
