14 days up here and still no 1000 free texts. Have registered and topped up £10. Have tried to speak to a human on 450 but no luck. I have also emailed Orange customer services via the 'Contact Us' facility on their website and not a dickie bird.
I hate being conned and feel a letter to trading standards coming on.0 -
i've just re-read the whole thread after seeing conflicting posts as to what one has to do to get these free txts.there wasn't owt in the original post that said the sims had to be activated before the end of April or that we had to ring 450 to change the tariff.i registered my sim on the 25th and it don't look like owt's happening @ this end.can somebody confirm that i have to change tariff????0

There was nothing in the T&C about having to change the tariff. I have contacted Orange once again and await a reply.
I wonder if the promoters of these offers like Metro, The Sun etc get any commission/cashback when people apply and register these free sims?0 -

Me too! I take back the cynicism from my earlier post (but not the grumble about having to jump through hoops)!0 -
I got mine too! still cannot text "orange" to 60040 though0

I'm guessing that number is the like the Orange Wednesdays thing, e.g. costs more than a standard text (35p?) so you need to have added credit.0
