    shame they dont work for the orange wednesdays otherwise i would order one. i read about buying sims for next to nothing http://walletwatchershow.com/2008/03/17/orange-wednesdays/ as it pays for itself.

    a search on amazon marketplace they start at 1p!!!

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w_h_/026-6038472-4826817?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=orange+SIM+card

    ebay brings most of them up for 99p;

    http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=orange+sim

    but a lot of the 99p ones include £5 credit which the amazon ones dont.

    Worth buying one for the free cinema entry - we go to the movies a lot and usually get an orange-owning friend to forward their unused codes! £6 a pop and with some great movies coming up over the next few months think we will get our moneys worth. i am still on t-mobile as their data plans are much fairer than oranges but for swapping a SIM over every week to save £6 and as a backup in a bad t-mobile coverage area this is perfect.

    My free SIM arrived this morning. I duly registered it (with a real human bean - not automated) and when I asked about my 1000 free text messages I was then pointed in the direction of new animal packages. All very confusing. Are you supposed to magic-up this free offer. I wish I hadn't bothered. It now turns out I can barely receive Orange in this area. Ok if I stand on the roof with my left leg in the air......or is it my right????

    What do i do now?

    I have registered the sim and heard nothing about the 1000 messages

    I also got them to different addresses.
    Although i only have one spare phone and they ask for IMEI number, can i still register them all using the same phone (ie same imei)

    Just received my SIM today. Once you've registered, call and ask about the 1000 free texts, the customer service sales rep will go and speak to their manager and will then come back and allocate 1,000 free texts to you to be used in 1 month. However you do have to top up before you can use them. I topped up £5 just now and the 1,000 texts are on there ready to be used.

    Neither can I - even though I have 90p of my free registration credit - havn't heard anything about my 1000 free texts - the automated registration thingy (which seems very good by the way) didn't mention it - does anyone know if you get a text or something to say you can use them? Bit unhappy :confused:
