as sinw said, O2 have had an offer similar to this ongoing for quite a while. Im with O2 and wouldnt change it for anything else at the minute due to the fact you can also take advantage of O2 Friends!
With O2 the same as Orange if you top up £10 you get 300 texts, £15 for 500 text and £30 for unlimited texts. Picture messages are also included in the free texts (and you can get your picture messaging settings free from the O2 web site for any hand set which supports it.
With O2 you can also have O2 Friends which is £5 per month for 1,000 free minutes or texts to 10 friends of your choice who are also on O2. They offer a 4 free sim for your mates deal free online if you google search it so its easy to get your family and friends in on the deal for free to save even more!
I top up £30 per month because im a text-a-holic and im also registered for O2 friends so for £30 a month I get:
-£25 calling credit to to call any network.
-1,000 free minutes to use on any 10 O2 numbers of my choice.
-Unlimited free texts to any network.
-10% back on all top up which can be collected every 3 months, so I also get a free £9 credit every 3 months.
-To top it off you also get free WAP (3mb for your first month and 1mb every month after).
This deal for Orange is better for the first month, but in the long run the O2 deal is much better!!
Even if you only wanted to top up £10 per month you would still get 300 free texts, £5 credit, 1,000 free minutes, 1mb free wap and £3 free credit every 3 months.. Cant see how this can be beaten at the minute.0 -
im not sure if ive done it right
ive activated the sim - via the freephone number
then rang 450 - and changed the tarriff to unlimited texts (as this was the only option that said anything about texts)
so hopefully ive done it right :j0 -
