Yes, exactly. The H10 isn't listed on the registered sections. So if the H10 exists then it isn't registered.

I have the information that it is the H10 for the Travelodge near T5 from http://www.londontoolkit.com/lhr/hotel_hoppa_bus.htm

Sorry if that website got it wrong and I am repeating an error!

The T5 TL route is definitely H57.

    Here's the proof.....http://londonbusdiary.fotopic.net/p50112255.html

I can't find any other reference to an H10.

All Hoppa routes are eligible for the pass as their stops are less than 15 miles apart - which classes them as 'local services'.

I assume the OP did mean this TL. It is just the other side of the M25 though, not the M4.

Halloo000000 - anybody out there. I was so enjoying our exchange of trips and now its gone dead.

Yes National Express is active again although I couldn't bag a cheapo for Newquay.

Now I have gone for some sun and I'm off with National Express/Eurlines to Spain, not your costas but Galicia. They have a great shellfish festival in October so I plumpt for that. NE goes door to door from London to Pontevedra for £150 return. Beats the nightmare of Gatwick or Heathrow at the moment. Will report on my return - who know - someone might be interested.

Of course we'll be interested MW! Enjoy your trip.

Or have you decided that Falmouth might be a better option?

I saw your other post and checked on Google Maps - their 'public transit' route is 'only' 19 hours and 53 minutes!

I bet Galicia isn't much longer.

I've been to see my aged uncle mainly by train ;) (details of how to travel east west roughly M25 to M25 across London by bus, I posted near the start of this thread - it takes HOURS:eek:).
Looking at his local authority bus pass details (NOT part of Greater London) I see it says that it can be used throughout London from 09:00 (not 09:30) on a week day.
Can someone confirm that this applies to ALL English bus cards?

Has anyone actually used their bus pass on a Heathrow Hoppa? I tried a few weeks back and was refused. A complaint to National Express customer services got the fare refunded but it would be interesting to know whether Hoppa drivers in general are aware that the pass is valid.

Hi dzug1. A great post. I've been waiting for a 'personal experience' on the registered sections issue since we started discussing it.

I'm not surprised in the slightest that there was a 'driver' problem on this. When I emailed NatExp on the subject of registered sections, their reply was they didn't have a list!!! If that's the case, it's not surprising the drivers haven't been briefed on it.

That, and the 'X' routes that aren't eligible for the pass, are very unsatisfactory parts of the scheme.

what kind of a bus pass qualifies? This surprises me because its just a national express service and you cant use a bus pass on national expess coaches.

Yes you CAN use an over 60 bus pass on SOME National Express services. They are called 'registered sections' and way up in this thread are various discussions about it.

The Heathrow Hoppas are all registered sections as is the Heathrow/Victoria coach station section of all routes passing through Heathrow.

I believe National Express get some form of fuel duty rebate on registered sections - the downside is they have to (well are supposed to) accept bus passes on them.
