Anybody had their 08/09 Tax Haven ISA opened?

My one has finally been opened today Like others I have been waiting for it to transfer out of my current account.

Just got off the phone to them, and even though I never received a letter confirming the account application, they opened the account on the 25th April and the cheque is currently being cleared. They confirmed interest will be backdated as well. May be worthwhile calling them on 0845 603 0845 or pick a random number on saynoto0870.co.uk. Wait time was next to nothing as well!

Hey guys!! Me and OH Just got our Tax Haven ISAs opened on 25th April. So I guess quite a few would be getting theirs as well. I had applied online in early March.

Checked my current account and the funds for the Tax Haven ISA left my account today, about time too :rolleyes:

Mine was opened yesterday also.

Not happy about the rate cut to 6.25% but I guess I will have earned 3 weeks interest with Lloyds also which after tax should get me around £9 quid!!

Mine finally opened on the 28th April, received the letter and 'welcome pack' today.
The money has been sitting in the current account since I applied on 29/3.

I see that Barclays appear to be backdating interest for some - do you need to prompt them for this to happen or is it automatic ?

My account is finally open but I have no welcome pack yet. I received 20p interest so it was'nt back dated. My online accounts won't let me transfer an more from my current account to my ISA - do I HAVE to do it over the phone?
