No, it's not anger. Just sheer irritation at someone who persists in asking the same question, and permutations thereof, despite getting basically the same answers from several people. And .....Deleted_User wrote: »I never said that icesave provide a freepost envelope - A freepost address, yes!! Work it out... Actually I'd better spell it out shall I ... "written on the envelope" by me. For goodness sake indeed!
...... has the uncanny ability to distil the inconsequentials, and then concentrate on them. The issue has been the fact there is a PO Box number in the address and your continuing concern as to where that might be? The Freepost aspect is of no consequence .... as you're going to have to pay anyway if you decide to 'special' it? You have the address ... so perhaps you have the ability to write that on the envelope ......... without opening another thread to question the colour of the ink?If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Mikeyorks.... Can I ignore you some other time?:rolleyes:0

Just for information. Icesaves online operation is run by Newcastle Strategic Solutions a subsidary of Newcastle Building Society.

NSS have earlier this year occupied a new building at Cobalt Business Park

Goldfinger,a bit further down the line I know but I would recommend that you ask your current ISA provider to send the cheque by next day special delivery so that you have proof that 1) Icesave received the cheque 2) minimise the loss of interest in transit as Icesave only pay from receipt ( no backdating).
Current provider may not say yes but worth a try.Worked for me.0 -

It certainly couldn't hurt to ask the question. Thanks.0 -
Will the 'google maps' satellite be passing over the Newcastle SS/Icesave offices when Goldfinger's package is delivered?
And can we ramp up the magnification to actually see the package being signed for?Imprudent granting of credit is bound to prove just as ruinous to a bank as to any other merchant.

What a comedian!
I'd like to help you out..... Which way did you come in?!:D0 -
It's quite possible to Special Delivery to both Freepost and PO Boxes - I've done it. When sending to a Freepost with a reply paid envelope the PO clerk deducts the cost of the reply paid envelope from the SD price - so if it was a First Class freepost you pay £4.30-36p=£3.94. Same goes if you stamp it yourself.
Freepost may confuse the address verification the clerk has to do because it has a different postcode to non-Freepost mail and may not be on the system, so it may be worth finding out an alternative non-Freepost postcode to the same address if you can and tell them that.0
