I think these saving forums are actually stopping us getting half these bargains nowadays

I was actually looking for Sex and the City as a present for my friends birthday, so it was sheer coincedence that it was on another forum. I apologise for sharing my good fortune with other MSE'ers!

Its easy to find misprices on amazon once you have found one or two, just go through the best sellers lists, and I didn't spot a lot of the misprices others have to be thanked for that.

Anyway, on a lighter note my Annie/Oliver,Monty Python and Marx Brothers have been dispatched this morning via Royal Mail at the lower prices, My orders too have disappeared from the website even though my email states still to be dispatched for Charlie Chaplin. I wouldn't mind but I ordered normal price goods too and they have gone also!

Sorry.. didnt meant it to make it sound like a dig at you, and wasnt trying to take away your find.
Was more making the point that the offers had been known, people had been buying.. and it was therefore harder for people on MSE to slip an order thru the net successfully

I sent my email through the delivery bit marked 'wheres my stuff?!!'. Thought it seemed appropriate!

That's ok then!

I can see what you are saying, but there are just so many forums out there it is going to be hard, just from reading the posts this morning some people have got lucky others haven't. I take offence to those who buy the items in "bulk" to sell on ebay and the like(and brag about it) and spoil it for others who would like a genuine bargain

just had a reply to my email basically saying they're sorry I'm not happy with their decision to cancel my order.

They have not attempted to answer my specific questions ie
why was I not informed of the cancellation and also why have they cancelled my book order.

Have sent a reply but I don't suppose there's much point really....I'll just have to buy my books elsewhere

Had a reply to my e-mail :-

We build our website information from many sources and in this case price listed for the DVDs are incorrect, so we have cancelled order no ***** and you have not been charged for these DVDs.

It then goes on to say about hoping i continue to buy from them in the future.

hi all ordered 1 x indy 1 x die hard 2 x monty all canncelled today so i rung the customer service line on 0208 6369200 even though they dont print it on the site i found the number and i complained and guess what they apolagised and offered me free box set if i bought the others i ordered at normal price i said no but i would like some free vouchers and they agreed on £7.50 so give it a go thats 0208 6369200 option 5 good luck all !
