According to the Fiat website, their version of 'follow me home headlights' is...

...A practical, safety conscious innovation designed to light the interior of a garage or a path to the front door after the car has been locked. Follow Me Home activates the dipped beams and sidelights of the new Panda. The driver simply operates the light flasher stalk within two minutes of switching off the engine. Each time the stalk is operated, light activation is extended by 30 seconds up to a maximum of three-and-a-half minutes.

Just noticed this on the Honest John site:

    08 Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 Active £6295

    Seems like a good price

A good choice, albeit a bit expensive, I am sure you will be very happy with the Honda, happy motoring.. ;)

Carrying on re the C1, I have one on a 2 year lease and couldnt be happier with it. We did a 700 mile round trip to France last month and do it in half the price that we normally pay in our Honda Accord. I found the seats comfortable and it is fine for just the 2 of us and the rear seats folded down if you need extra luggage space. It keeps at 80 mph quite easily on the French motorways and is nippy around town. I dont find it noisy, and the only slight nuisance is having to use the key to unlock the back.
