Yes really enjoyed Angus Thongs i think the girl in the lead role is going to be a little star and Steve Jones cameo in it was funny as well, don't you just hate it when people are on there mobile phones in the cinema i think it the most annoying habit in the world.
  • Did anyone see this at Edinburgh Wester Hailes tonight?

We turned up for the 6 for 6.30 screening to be told it started at 5pm and we were too late:mad:

How many other people did this happen to?

I am going to phone up cinema tomorrow after 11 and ask the manager why the time was changed by 1 and half hours. Took me a long time to get there for nothing!! No email from SFF advising time change which is very unusual!!

What a great film. Took my 12 year old daughter and both of us think its the best film we've seen in ages. Plenty of laughs. She wants me to buy it on dvd as she says it would be great to watch with friends on sleepover nights.

Saw this - along with no more than 20 others... Why are so few people turning up?

I loved this film though - a 9/10, and much better than Wild Child (4/10). WC just was so-o-o dated compared with Angus, thongs and perfect snogging. (Looked WC up on IMDB, and so-o-o many people seemed to be from 'famous' families. Hmmm...)

Polomint - I loved the cat too, although it seemed pure Blue Persian and not Scottish wildcat! I have one cat that is as fluffy, and another which is just that colour. (From the Persian cat rescue...)

And Georgia looks like my goddaughter, who will love the film, although she really likes Alex Pettyfer in WC....

Wolverine - the final score from me tonight is for Wall-E. It was technically very well done, and very 'clever' (smart) in places, but... who was it for? The story was too simple for adults, and the kids and teenagers did NOT enjoy it.. I'll give it 6/10.

MarjoreeMarjora - initially, there WAS to be a screening at 5, but this was for yesterday evening, I think. Check out the tickets board to see what was said. I got paper tickets from Paramount for this evening, and they had no record of the other screenings which were publicised. It seemed very disorganised.

But I think there was to be another (later) screening. Given the low turnouts, then they should be able to offer you replacement tickets, AND they should have offered you the chance to see something else this evening.

    Why not email SeeFilmFirst too?

    Good luck!

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging at Odeon Covent Garden, off Shaftesbury Avenue yesterday. The film was shown in the 'Special Previews Screen'. Well attended, there were seats at the front for any late comers and also odd seats scattered around but in the main it had to be 80% full.

I enjoyed this, will definitely appeal to teenage girls - some great supporting characters too, like Peter Dyer, Dave the Laugh or is it really his surname like 'De Laff'?? (I just like his name) and Angus himself! Steve Jones wasn't looking too bad either! don't want to give anything away so I'll restrain myself from saying more but it was all a bit too nice and neat for me - although still worth watching.

I thought that Georgia's blonde friend (who went out with Sven?) looked like a young Danielle Lloyd (of Big Brother shame) - just a random thought I had while watching it.

Better than Wild Child for me, but not one I would immediately be drawn to - I'd give the film a 7.5 out of 10

I too turned up last night - and we were there very early (in time for the 5pm screening!), but didn't know it was on early so sat and killed time in the cinema 'bar' for about an hour and a half. Not one person ever told us it was on early!

What a shambles. I am not going to do it again as it was a lot of trouble and time getting there, all for nothing.

The offered a free show tonight but I couldn't be bothered by that stage!
