    your so right! never thought of that!!yeah justa shame i cant invest it . i need to invest or spend it, i dont have another option

    Personally I wouldn't put £50K into a property during the current climate. I'd sooner invest it in shares and, if I wanted to buy a property, shop around at a later date. Alternatively, if you wanted something safer, just a high interest savings a/c.

    i cant put it in shares at bank ect. long story but short and sweet. hubby affair . left took half the house, ive had to give up my home with kids, we now moving into rented. i work but dont earn enough so will have to use 50k to live till it runs out, bang goes my daughters uni money and my future, unless i can tie it up in bricks and mortor, you can all judge me all ya like i coudlnt give a monkeys bum! lol but didnt fancy using everything ive worked for and still work for pooring my kids education down the drain, something wrong with the goverment when u cant even secure your own kids school future, but thats a whole new subject!!, thx for imput guys

    If you need a guarateed and steady income then high-interest savings is the only place to put it.
