You have really sold Playa Blanca to me I want to be there right now. Do you have any recommendation of hotels or apartments, we really would like to go Oct or Nov as not had a holiday this year and want to fit 1 in before christmas.
Thanks0 -
Oct/Nov is a great time for weather as it's so different from the UK at that time of year. Blue skies and amazing sunsets.
For apartments, have a look at the Apartamentos Rubimar. They're really close to the Marina and only 20 minutes walk from the town centre too. They're in a hotel layout but well laid out. We got one at the far right hand end as you face reception from the road outside. It was quieter than the ones facing the pool.
Look also at the Lanzarote Princess and any of the Iberostars (although they can be a little way out of town).
Enjoy! xxxI'm not easily distracted, I just... ... ... oh my god it's a puppy!!0 -

Think there's only 1 iberostar now (lanzarote park), and its due to close for refurbishment sometime in October.0 -
Ah - cheers for that. Is that the one by the Hiperdino a short distance east of the Marina? Stayed there for my 40th.

On the basis that this may help everyone plan their stay in Lanzarote, as well as the pick up/drop off service, I've found a guy called Paul who provides quality meals delivered or cooked at your villa/apartment.
I've ordered his BBQ pack including steak teryaki, chicken, Thai King prawns with chilli jam etc etc etc which will be delivered just as we arrive thus saving us from having to go shopping on day one/two of our holiday.
It's a brilliant idea and extremely useful to those who, like me, dont want the hassle of fending for themselves on Day 1 of their holiday. Unfortunately as I'm just a newbie I cannot post a link but try searching for La Bocaina Catering, Lanzarote.
Cannot wait for hols to begin ;-)0 -
Yup - that's Paul Ecob. Top fella and previous owner/chef at La Bocaina.

No problem at all. Have a great time - and give our warmest love to Paul and Nina. I messaged him last night to order some more of his chilli relish. xxI'm not easily distracted, I just... ... ... oh my god it's a puppy!!0

Elle, I looked these up on trip adviser and judging by most of the recent reviews it has gone right down the pan, just wondered when you were last there.0
