Hi again Irene.
No problem. I've put 17 DVDs on the dining room table - so you can take your pic. Just give me a bell when you're ready and I'll send Alan up to you. You can have them all for around the same price you'd pay for one. And yes, there is soime comedy in there. They're not the latest movies though, as mine are all on my PC these days.
No pressure to take them - I know someone else who will take them off my hands if you don't want them. Just clears some space for me.
Buganvillas? Up by the Industrial Estate? Yes, very quiet... but only 20 minute stroll from town. We used to live fairly close to there.
Elle xxI'm not easily distracted, I just... ... ... oh my god it's a puppy!!0 -
You really are helpful Elle

hiya
was great to read your informative post about playa blanca
i'm slightly confised by the directions to the hiperdino. I can spot one hiperdino on google maps, it is very close to a spar. however the one with an underground car park I can't seem to place. have you got its location on a map or directions with road names etc?
thank you0 -
Surely there are some"Lucky Lucky Men"knocking about to help with the DVD situation,;);)0

You need Calle La Tosca which is off Calle del Correillo about half way between the port and the town centre.0 -
Hey everyone,
We're going to Playa Blanca at the end of September staying at the Corbeta.... :-S .....can't wait though!
I was wondering about the weather-I'm checking the daily forecast and although its showing good temperatures, it always seems to be cloudy or overcast. Is this really the case? is it so cloudy/overcast that you can't lay out and tan in it?! I need sun on my body! After the so called 'summer' we've had this year I'm getting away in the hope I can boost my vitamin D levels a little at least!!!
I know its supposed to be a little windy there too, and although I've never been to lanzarote before, I'm sure i heard that you will always need a jacket on an evening?
Also, one more! Does anyone know how far away the Corbeta is from the centre/marina/beach (I presume these are all in the same area and not spread about?)
I've been researching and seem to be getting conflicting results, some say its really close, some say its a fair walk...
Thanks for any help and advice anyone can offer!0 -
Cloud often covers both Lanzarote and Fuerteventura (they don't tell you that in the brochures!) but you can certainly tan in it. In fact, if you lie out under the clouds you will burn if you don't keep using your cream.
It also rains occasionally. Really, it does! It's far from impossible to have a couple of wet days in a week's holiday. This is most likely around February, but I've encountered rain in Corralejo (on Fuerteventura, you can see it from PB) in the autumn.
In my opinion you are unlikely to need a jacket in the evening in September, but best take a light one anyway.
Judging by the map on Trip Advisor you are a long way from the centre and even further from the marina. You are going to need to use buses or taxis unless you like a long walk.Je suis Charlie.0 -
