Of course there are records. When you enter the US all your details are held on computer with flight manifests. The ESTA is replacing the green form, so all you records will be held on the ESTA system. The green forms will be history from March.0

Looks riddled with holes to me - OK the old system was as well.
So what happens if you arrive and/or leave by land?0 -
You will still have to clear immigration at your entry point, so you will still need the ESTA0

Thanks for replies on the above matter!0

Hi,
I have an ESTA from a trip to NYC in November 09. I am going to New Zealand in April and will be transitting through LAX. Do I need to apply for a new ESTA for this trip or am I now covered for 2 years regardless?
Thanks is advance!0 -

You don't need apply for a new ESTA. However, you can update your travel plans on your current one, but that's optional. If you do, and are only transiting the U.S., just put "In Transit" in the field for your address while in the U.S.

Hi
Can anyone tell me if drunk and disorderly is a crime involving moral turpitude? Can i just tick 'no' on the esta form or do i need to apply for a visa.
I was arrested, appeared at court and was fined. This was when i was 18/19 over 25 years ago. I have enhanced CRB checks for work, and it has never shown up on these forms.
Also, it works out quite expensive to apply for a visa approx £85 + £35 for the ACRO certificate + travel costs to london and return. If you were granted a visa, would it be valid for a few years or would these costs need to be repeated for every trip?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moral_turpitude is helpful - I would say it's not moral turpitude
Assuming they gave you a standard visa and not a restricted one, the costs would be repeated every 5 years.0
