I'd be totally bloody chuffed to be asked! The friendly guy at the supermarket asked me once, but I knew he was just joking & being nice!0

I don't usually get asked any more, depends on the person who serves me, but I did get ID'd at the bookies on Sat, though my hair was all fluffy cos I didn't dry it with the hairdryer or have my glasses (without them I look about 12)."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

The last time I was asked for ID was when I was about 16, but there's no option for that.
:beer:I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0 -
Last asked for ID to prove my age when I was 20, but that was in 1977!
I know the penalties for serving under age in pubs etc can be strict, however I do find the attitude of the so called security staff on the doors of pubs are very high handed. A colleague (over 21) had been asked for photo ID, and produced her driving licence. The security guy refused to believe the photo was her, although he was not in fact disputing her age. I was called upon to verify who she was, and did so. He refused to give her the licence back as he still said it was not hers, and refused her entry to the pub, told us to move on or he would call the police. We said that was fine by us, as we would like to report a stolen driving licence. Another security guy came over to found out what the problem was, looked at the licence and returned it and let us all in to the pub. At which point we said we would prefer to go somewhere else, and left.0 -
I'm coming up to 22 and haven't been asked in years. Being fat and balding has its advantages0

One of my friends, who is 24, got ID'd in Morrisons last week...he was trying to buy FHM!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I didn't know this but, apparently, you have to be 15 to buy FHM and the teller wasn't quite sure whether he was old enough. The great thing was that he didn't have any ID on him, he only convinced the girl he was over 15 by showing her a student card that was 3 years out of date!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0
