Thanks Keren - hope your job is going well? :)

Hi - so glad it went well for you :T

Yes, job is fine. It's not particularly strenuous mentally, but I don't want that. I'm happy pootling away doing typing and admin in my own little world, just picking up work, doing it and passing it on/back. I'm getting 'happy' noises from the managers I'm doing the work for. Being so close to work is fantastic - I never thought I could beat the 1.75 miles to work which my last job was, but this is half the distance! It's great!

There is already the possibility of my job changing at some point in the future, I think I am being 'groomed' for something similar but a little bit further up the tree so to speak, but it's early days and probably won't happen this year ;)

    Snaggles,
    Glad it well sweets!
I have a job interview today via telephone for MFI-good job by all accounts but on the way home I realised it's simply not do-able-it's weekends etc and it simply won't fit around the kids. I am loving having the weekends off as well so I can do things like hop in the car and visit wonderful friends all over the country ;)

My boss has had several final demands for payments for various things in the past week and frankly I am truly worried I won't get paid by month end.

Scott thinks I should just go get any job doing what ever until I can get my 'dream' job...which I thought this one was...*sigh*

    Morning!

Well, the first 2 days back at work went really well, they've been great and have really looked after me. I've got a new manager who seems lovely, and the job has changed quite a bit - a lot of the bits I didn't enjoy have been taken off our team and given to another department, and we are doing more of the stuff we actually SHOULD be doing. The change is temporary to start with, but I'm hoping it will become permanent.

I've already confessed to this, but might as well post it on here too - I've spent £70 on work clothes, but there were quite a few sales on, so I got a few bargains. I've bought:

    black trousers
black waistcoat (very cool - I love it!)
cute blouse with tiny flower print
    black shirt
    blue summery skirt
grey summery skirt (both skirts are the long, casual, swirly, slightly crumpled style)
    black vest top
silver sequinned shrug (okay I didn't need this but it's fab!)
    very cute beaded necklace

I wore the grey skirt and black shirt with some long silver beads on the school run today and 3 people said I looked nice! :T (although they all sounded surprised when they said it... not sure what that tells you....:rotfl:).

Moneywise, I've no idea what's going on - online statement for the 'shopping' credit card is ready to view but Stu looks after that one and I don't know the security details so can't check if we're within budget. My account has £3.04 in it to last till payday, but I think I've spent enough, so it's perhaps a good thing!

Hope everyone is having a good (cheap) day. :)
