I think she just wanted a less crap husband to take the hint and make her a cup - I think now she's too old she would think it very dated and patronising "I CAN STILL MAKE A BL^&DY CUP OF TEA"skint_spice wrote: »For BB - different name but your mum might still like it! http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&langId=-1&q=TEAS&pp=20&c_1=1|cat_9553994|Small%20kitchen%20appliances|95541150 -
Hey Quackers :hello:
Can't believe I even got confused about what day I was going back to work - I don't even work Mondays!
Boob talk isn't compulsory, don't worry - I am just trying to wean a rather stubbon little girl who only likes 'booby milk' and wont accept expressed/formula milk from a bottle or cup.
She's managing to have a couple of small drinks of cows milk per day now (naughty I know as she's not quite 12 months old, but it's better than nothing), and I have just in the last 2 days dropped to 2 breastfeeds a day, but goodness me I look like Jordan and I am sooooo sore!
There you go, you can all rest easy now, I have talked about my boobs...my thread is complete!
Hell if Snags gets a teasmaid at least she doesn't need little tubs of vile UHT milk or marvel next to the bed...0 -
Natasha just took her first steps!!! :T :T
Me and Stu were sitting on the floor and trying to encourage her to walk between us - suddenly she just launched herself forwards and walked towards me. Now there's no stopping her, she can do 3 steps before she falls over, but she's getting steadier with every try!!!!!!!
I am literally crying with happiness that she did it while I was with her and not while I was at work, because she's been sooo close to walking for quite a while now. :j :j :j
Now that's a real treat - better than a bin by a long shot! :T

You lot are so funny! Stu keeps asking me why I'm laughing.

Right, I am breaking with tradition and having an early night. No point sitting up worrying about work when I can lie down and worry instead.

Adreneline.... There's some evidence you function slightly better with a bit of sleep deprivation (not ongoing weeks and weeks though)... besides first day back at work they'll just want to show what make of biros they now use and chat as you'll be the person with new gossip/anecdotes they haven't heard and are bored stiff of each other.Arrrrggghhh....can't sleep.....lol!!!0 -
